I cannot thank Dr Steve Wimberley and staff at Westville Veterinary Hospital enough for the exceptional love and care they showed Henry after being hit by a car a week ago. We received video updates every day from Dr Steve and the staff were more than accommodating to a panicked dog mom calling them several times a day to check in on him. One week post double hip surgery and he is coming home. Beyond grateful to the whole team at this practice. Thank you, thank you, thank you.

Genuine 5 star experience. My 18 yr old Maltese had blocked tear ducts for about a year. Our regular vet emigrated, so we were still trying to find the right vet. We saw 2, and I was not happy. I requested to see the eye specialist at the hospital. Dr Webster. Great, Dr. Correctly diagnosed her with Glaucoma. He treated her for the last 6 months. Her eye pressure dropped from 60 to 16. No more excess tears. Great Dr, very good " Petside manner" So we found the right Dr for our pets. Thank you. K.

We went at 11:30esh as an emergency. My baby was knocked (Jack Russell puppy) accidentally by a family member. The experience at that moment was very traumatic. But the vet on call that day was simply compassionate and very understanding. She treated my baby with such love and care and explained everything very well my baby is on her way to recovery 💗 n we following her instructions to the tee. Thank you so much to the vet on call that evening you was extremely amazing.

Our beloved little Maltipom, Maddie, was diagnosed with right ventricle heart failure in Jan 2024 by Dr Richard Smith and sadly passed way on 12 Nov. We have spent the better part of a year in and out of Westville Vet, either seeing Dr Smith or collecting her monthly meds. From the first day, we were treated with respect and compassion by every staff member. We were always thoroughly apprised of her condition, phoned back timeously if required and emailed with updates, recommendations. I cannot praise them enough, Dr Smith and Staff were truly compassionate and empathetic when assisting either us or Maddie. Thank you for making it all a little less stressful.

Good vets, helpful staff, parking lot has a bit of a steep driveway for those who have low cars. They are also here around the clock for emergency cases.

Dr Webster and team did a wonderful job. Highly recommended, especially in an emergency. A special thanks to Lynne Honniball!

I made my first visit to the Westville Veterinary Hospital today. I must admit I had a very good experience, the staff are super friendly and very helpful. My babies meds were already dispensed when I arrived and spent no time waiting. The staff in the pet food area are also very helpful and can help and answer questions with ease. I would definitely recommend them to all pet parents.

Our dog has had 2 major ops at this vet under Doctor wemberly, who put in titanium implants on both her back legs. Apart from that, regular visits are had, and we have never had any issues. Staff are friendly and will answer your call for updates without issue. We'll equipped facilities, which means your pet will receive assistance timeously. Waiting room is spacious. Pets need to be on leash or caged.

Not only did he manage to rehabilitate a badly damaged leg on our Belgian Malinois without surgery, but he took great care of our tiny Yorkshire Terrier who required tooth extraction and sterilization. Westville vet really is top class when it comes to taking the best care of our beloved fur babies. ❤

Dr Steve Wimberley is an amazing God sent doctor 🙏. My baby Rocco , a pit bull hurt is ligaments and Dr Steve handled him with such love and care on all 3 visits, he even advised me to send him videos of Rocco which he responded to. He took the time to advise us with regards to Rocco's treatment. Even the staff at reception are so friendly and welcoming, always ready to help with a smile. Thank you Dr Steve , God bless you 🙏 🙌

My Pekingese Fur Baby Kai had a terrible eye ulcer on his right eye. The eye was so cloudy and infected I was terrified because I thought he would lose his sight on that eye or even lose that eye. With the excellent treatment given to him by Doctor Webster my Fur Baby is now perfectly fine. His eye has completely healed and is back to normal. I am very happy with the treatment that my Kai was given. The staff are super friendly and the hospital is very neat. We didn't even have to wait long. Thank you Dr Webster! Outstanding service!

Our boy was having seizures and took him at night Doc Kirsten saw to him and stabilized him and then booked CT scan with Dr Phil Reece. Both Docs were friendly and answered all questions that we had. If you want proper care it comes at a price.

Obviously the cost of treatment is relative but you get real service from professional dedicated animal friendly caregivers and very caring doctors. We had the pleasure of meeting Dr Rees, a very genuine and caring doctor, who had so much love for my pet. Definitely a dedicated down to earth person with a brilliant attitude. Apart from Alison, the front desk staff are very unfriendly and need to smile more. The nurses need to adopt some basic mannerisms and stop acting like they are the doctors when in fact they are just the help, the only let down in my first interaction with WVH.

I had an emergency and their after hour facilities fitted me in. They were all so lovely and kind especially the vet who saw me. They gave me ample respect and time with my late dog Mollie who I had to put down. You might end up waiting a bit for your appointment and pay a bit more but ultimately they prioritise animal needs.

I haven't been into the Westville Emergency Vet, however I did speak to one of the vets on duty on Sunday night around 21h30 and he was so helpful, patient and informative with me over the phone. I was not expecting the great service that I received over the phone especially at that time of the evening. I left the call feeling alot less anxious and comfortable enough to address the situation myself until the morning when I could take my pup to my local vet. We generally deal with Dr Perling - she’s been fantastic with our kitten and is a very bubbly person :) Few months ago my kitten got into a major fall broke its back leg and had internal bleeding. Dr Vergeer and Dr Perling managed to get my kitten back into great health :D

We saw James Webster to assist us with our spaniel toby who has ear issues. He was very informative and helped us understand the issue. James will be operating on my dog in the near future on a complicated operation which involves removing my dogs ear canals. This is a last resort and we are glad to be working with such a great Vet.

Dr. Hein being the consumate professional that she is, correctly diagnosed him with tick bite fever, and put him on a course of Antibiotics that has put him well on the road to recovery. One of the few 24hr veterinary hospitals available. Has an animal physiotherapy unit. And some of the best treatment that can be given to out pets..apart from the normal food and treat section. We have been using this practice for many years.
