The studio space itself has a great vibe - with a very artsy pseudo industrial vibe. Inside is, as you'd hope, clean and very professionally ran. Everyone there is very friendly, welcoming and they love to talk about their craft. The enthusiasm is awesome. My artist this visit was Rowan. Great tattooer - smooth line work, great colour saturation and a really gentle hand. Had a really comfortable 3 hours and left with a nice little trash polka piece I love. Highly recommend this place to anyone shopping around Cape Town.

An experience of a lifetime! From Buddha the owner ,that is a whole vibe and to Jordan who did my tattoo...21 and killing it young man! The tallent, skill and welcoming environment just made my day! Got my lip tattooed with Gino!! Best experience so far ! They informed me before hand about the pros and cons of the placement and was so gentle with the tattoo itself. After having been rejected my inner lip tattoo by 3 artists, I was thrilled when Buddha and Roan were extremely open to my request. It did come with very good advice and a realistic expectation - something I already knew because of all the research I had done myself. (Recommend doing mad research if interested …) They were extremely professional and excellent conversationalists :) they guided me and made sure I knew exactly what I was getting myself into. Will definitely be visiting again!

He is a very sweet person and super easy to talk to. His line-work was some of the best i’ve seen. As always Tyler was the meticulous, patient, genius I’ve always known him to be and the great conversation whilst getting little bits of your skin etched out, makes the experiences that much better. OMW , finally I found an amazing piercing / tattoo studio close to me! The service was great! And they have perfect hours , open 7 days a week! I called the Saturday to find out if the have the jewellery I was interested in, popped in the Monday and was warmly welcomed by Bhuddha . Jemma then helped me see if the jewellery I wanted would work for the piercings and she even changed it for me! Most places charge for piercing changes , but not More Than Hype. Their prices are also super affordable, which makes it hard not to get another piercing and even hard not to buy more jewellery. Thank you again for the great service!
