This Pick n Pay is fairly convenient if you live in Sea Point. It’s not the most up to date store, but generally has what you are looking for. I walk to this store, but I believe you may get one hours free parking inside as well. What breaks my heart every time I go through, is to see the little bird that has been stuck in the store for over 6 months, since the end of 2023. I hope more is done to free the bird!!!

As mentioned before...price not correct as of today.. ex: Promotion on Clark and son drink was advertised on shelves at 22 r for 2... In fact was 30r for 2... Normal price...no promo at all !!!....

Many years ago this store was the best supermarket in Sea Point. Despite being refurbished a few years ago, the foot traffic in this store is a far cry from what it used to be. I am often dissapointed when I discover that a number of popular item s are not stocked at this branch. One example is St. Dalfour jam, which btw you can buy at Checkers, Spar and Dischem! There are other examples, but I won't bore you with all the details. Also I recently had my cellphone pick-pocketed off me, while I was in the store. Unfortunately the security staff are more concerned that customers are sanitizing when they enter the store, than keeping a lookout for dubious "customers." The new system of having to go upstairs to the parking office to have a ticket validated is completely annoying and absurd. I often decide to shop elsewhere because of this major inconvenience. At the Sea Point Spar, customers can scan their parking tickets in the store and then drive straight to the exit boom. Lastly and this seems to apply to all Pick n Pays, I don't like the fact that they no longer sell certain vegetables with the leaves still attached e.g. carrots. At the Spar, you can buy more freshly cut producr. On the positive side, I am pleased that the store is now stocking vegan cheeses and vegan ice cream. I only discovered these recently, by chance. It would be great if they followed the example of the Sea Point Spar, which has a large freezer section, dedicated to vegan products.

In recent years I avoided going to this store at all costs but a hurried errand took me back, today. With one exception the staff were pleasant and most helpful people. The dreadful smell from the meat and fish counters seems also to be a thing of the past.

Fruit & Veg section is decent. I have experienced the staff to be quite rude and dismissive (two staff members actually pushed in in front of me in line on different occasions, almost unaware that there are customers in the store). Layout of the shelves feels a bit disorganized and not as well thought out as other stores. Sometimes the meat section smells so bad that I can't be in the shop longer than 5 minutes and the drinks section is really average.

Situated in a deserted mall at the far end of the parking lot. Had 3 beggars approach us while shopping asking us to buy their food and one followed us continuously until we approached him to leave us. Overall the pnp was good. Had fresh stock of fruits and hot bread

The last time I shopped at this store was roughly two years ago and I never came back as I had a bad shopping experience. I've recently started shopping here again and I must say, the store has improved a lot since the re-branding of the mall. The store is well stocked but there were a few fresh items that I could not find, perhaps these items are not stocked at all? The store and customers would greatly benefit if there were cashiers at all till points during peak hours, paying at this store is a painful process. I recently bought meat here from the butchery and noticed that the Butcher did not wear gloves when handling my meat. This is unacceptable and needs to be addressed by the store.

Hi everybody.. I haven't been here for a long time and it has been upgraded and even the mall is getting a makeover... And of course pick n pay never disappoints... Happy shopping

Store has limited stock variety, and so I end up shopping at Shoprite down the road. Customer service is excellent, with CIKIZWA being a super star - handled a rude and demanding / OCD customer with utmost professionalism. In addition, she went out of her way to sort out my incorrect selection of goods. Store is always clean and staff members always available to assist, if there is a need.
