As many of the Checkers stores are being refurbished, this one hasn't had the treatment yet, but perhaps it doesn't require it because it's such a charming little store. Friendly greeting from the staff adds a welcoming touch to this store and the layout is very intuitive. Instant foods are near the entrance so you can grab and go, followed by frozen foods, meats, canned and non-foods as you move further into the store. Unlike some stores which limit the number of cashiers, the store had a healthy compliment of cashiers and packers - even soon after opening - and that's a credit to the management. In addition, this store also offers home delivery through the Sixty60 app. Neat and clean store; appetising fair on offer.

I visit this store regularly, but I always receive excellent service from friendly staff. They are very helpful. I was looking for something specific, and the gentleman left what he was doing to walk all the way to show me where I could find the item. I love visiting this store 😍

Relatively large store with decent variety. Bakery and deli are not halaal. Due to Sixty60 some items (particularly those in the fresh veg sections) tend to be serially out of (or low in) stock.

Conveniently located with the essentials. The parking lot needs upgrading asap though. Loads of potholes everywhere so driving in and out is horrendous.

Convenient supermarket with just about everything one needs to fill the grocery cupboards. Bring along your Checkers Xtra savings card, as they regularly have specials on selected products.

I've been shopping here for years, which had been really good with customer service and providing good money for value products. However, I find the cashiers extremely unfriendly.

Miserable and unhelpful staff. They have no consideration for shoppers. You have to give way for them. The shop layout is cool but the staff need more training in customer service.

Always a pleasure to go here. The parking outside is nice and there are some shaded areas on a hot day. Nice parking area for walks and runners and cyclists uses it to park their cars.

This is a really large Checkers. Variety of goods on sale. They offer samples on new items. Staff are friendly enough. The backery has a wide selection of goods but the shop is often busy. The lines get really long, but move quite quickly. I prefer this Checkers to others. Many toys for the children to look at and choose from. There is also a large parking area.

I only shop here. It's convenient for me. The pharmacy is here, they all know me. Woolworths is here and not so full.

As a local it is nice to see the diverse staff, especially enriching the lives of those so called "disabled". The shelves are never short of quality items and never am I left dissatisfied. Ok... maybe on Christmas when Cream is highly in demand. Thanks all.

This is a very conveniently located Checkers for the Bergvliet/Meadowridge area. They tend to have a wide assortment of most things, and they have a particularly impressive cheese selection.
