Clean typical checkers store. Usher at the door to help you with directions to isles, sections you want to visit, etc. Computicket to book travel, concert tickets and whatsoever. Money makert available. Stuff members are friendly and kind. Well decorated and well labeled. Too many empty tills tho but it's understandable especially on a Sunday.

Picture a supermarket where gleaming aisles are flawlessly organized, with neatly arranged shelves showcasing vibrant products. The cleanliness is impeccable, and the neatly packed goods create an inviting and efficient shopping experience.

Nothing above average. It's just sad to see that the chicken pieces shrink to half their size once cooked. The wine selection is great. Excellent prices. Bread selection is average... same old, same old. It would be nice to have a veggie attendant in place at all times, we always have to go looking for someone to weigh our packages. I'm grateful for the water refill corner but can't use it because there is no one to assist lifting those heavy bottles and containers. If the veggie person was in attendance they could double up and help load these filled bottles in our trollies. The carpark attendants at least help load these water bottles into the car. We purchase at least 40 litres of water a week... so its their loss. I only get my regular non perishable necessities at any of the chain stores. The fruit and veggies go off too quickly to buy in bulk. Woolies and Spar offer better quality and smaller packaging for the pensioners. On the whole, they are always well stocked. Never out of stock.

Honestly the cleanest and nicest Checkers (imo) in all JHB. Deli food is prepared daily and you have got to try their chicken strips which are even yummier than fast-food joints and waaay cheaper. The staff are always so friendly and I just LOVE this Checkers so much. Well done guys. I literally only buy my groceries at Checkers. Keep it up!!

The shop and food choice is good . But then at 9.30am I ask are the spicy chicken strops fresh ? Made this morning? They said yes, I checked they were sure . Yes . I bought 90 zar worth for all if us. I opend the bag while still in chequers to wat one. They were not fresh z no way .. the chicken was tough and the batter hard . This was yesterday's left over no sales put out again today ti sell . I put the bag down in shop snd left so it cost the 90 zar. My son went just after lunch, chicken nicely soft and juicy nice Batter. They lied to ny face to sell me old stock

Glad to see Checkers giving Woolworths a run for our money. My one complaint about this store is that there are no handbaskets. I don't want to lug a trolley around for the shop I do. The bakery is adequate and no more. Fresh section is now good. Keep up the good work. I am a regular now.

I’ve always enjoyed entering Checkers Pineslope with great expectations , but not knowing that I’ll ever experience a fearful encounter yesterday. Whilst my Husband and myself go early parts to shop another customer in Checkers approach Us asking for money so my husband said he didn’t have . Roughly 20 minutes later he sees me alone then proceeds to ask me, he then follows me into an aisle which was empty. I then said please do not follow me ! My concern is it’s either cameras ain’t working in the store or managers ain’t concerned of their customers safety . You don’t even know how long this person was in the store . Anyway I immediately called for the manager and his handled it thereafter . Dear customers it’s a difficult time for everyone please be very vigilant and careful whilst doing your shopping , it’s something you’d least expect especially portraying around wearing a mask Cause this incident has shook me up.

I've actually reprimanded one cashier twice for not greating and for not saying Thank You, please take them for refresher courses or they should visit any nearest Woolworths to learn customer service, otherwise the store is clean and has everything one needs 🙏

Store has a good selection of products. Generally clean when Ive visited. What frustrates me is the lack of tills that are open during peak times which ends up with long waits.

Generally i love checkers, nice quality for tge price you pay... BUT!!! The staff by the bread counter and the cooked food counter... I cant even.. They are either not there and no one can find them or they do their absolute best not to make eye contact so they dont have to help you... I stood there waiting while a gent was being helped by someone, and another staff member spoke to a JMPD officer from behind tge counter but when they were done talking walked off without even greeting me or asking id i needed help... What the hell? PLEASE TEACH YOUR STAFF MANNERS

Lost my credit card in the shop, but realised it was missing and went back to Checkers. They had found the card and returned it to me without any issue. Wonderful!

Miss managed, you wait in line for a rather long time, just to be called to go pay at the cigarette counter, only to wait even longer, just watch the people who were in behind you, pay and leave before you do, and this is common occurrence. Can do with a bit of cleaning

Yay for Checkers Pineslopes because the one at Leaping Frog is godawful. Fairly average selection of products and goods, shelves are sometimes empty, just know your customers and their shopping habits.
