Update: (Please open more than one till at your Express, funny enough it's always the longest waiting queue at express tills) I live right across the road so I go there often and it's my main go to. They are FANTASTIC. I rate them as the best Checkers I have ever used and they are consistant. Fresh products and produce. Shelves always neat and stocked. Stays open late enough for you to go around there. Their etaff are super friendly and wow... In ALL these months (unlike other Checkers) I have never, even with trolley checkouts stood in line for more than like 4 minutes (went there yesterday 24th Dec and it was very very busy. I walked straight to a checkout and was next inline and waited maybe 2 minutes max. I gain nothing by praising the management and staff apart from letting everyone know my personal experience with them. They doing something right and we love it. Stan.

First time in this checkers . Shop smells fresh no meat smell. The cold meats , salad bar etc well presented and everything looks fresh . Shop is well stocked and clean. The staff at the tills where very helpful and friendly. I enjoyed the shopping experience

It feels bigger and better than other competitors. Would like a points system, like Pick & Pay with money for point to spend. Need more specials. Need 5% pensioner discounts every day like Spar.

Nice revamp. The shopping experience has been vastly improved. Clean and the staff is very friendly and willing to assist. Keep it up and this will become one the more frequented and enjoyable shopping experiences in the area. Still going strong. Going from strength to strength. Keep it up. Service is just getting better. Really an excellent shop to shop at. Still a great suburban supermarket to shop at. Busy but you can shop comfortably.

Stocks most stuff however the bakery is very average and could improve. Overall a good affordable place with short waiting times in the que. Don't forget your checkers loyalty card to get the specials.

Checkers Noordheuwel is always a great place to shop at. They normally have everything you are looking for and the fruit and veggies are always fresh.

Shop is clean and neatly set out. Lots of parking space. They have a weird way of ordering pancakes that they sell at entrance. Pay 1st or order 1st. No matter which way u do it always wrong so I don't buy the pancakes. Fresh produce good and a variety. Store also sells fish but at exorbitant prices. It is always fresh though. Wide variety of products from appliances to dog food. Bakery bakes nice French loafs but sometimes there are flies lurking about. Their butchery lacks service. Meat does not always smell good. Do not use this service often. Had some bad experiences there. So be on the lookout. Have many cashiers. Gets busy on weekends. Staff are friendly and helpful. Edit They have recently updated the store. The setup is great and the butchery and bakery facilities have been upgraded Butchery is looking better with a good range of quality products Luv the cheese section. They have introduced a sushi bar

What an amazing shopping experience! I visit there once a week even if it is to just get a coffee at the coffee counter, which by the way is delicious and very cheap. Then I have a stroll through the shop and normally pick up a few essentials like their yummy giant muffins, mini vetkoek, freshly baked coney rolls etc. It is worth the trip! I love the upgrade! Even the new trolleys make your shopping experience enjoyable!

Well as most of you know Checkers has stepped up their stores all over and Noordheuwel is a great example. Big range on everything such as the fresh produce, butchery, and of course the wine selection.

Get everything you need and get great deals on the extra savings card! It's closest to me and have been shopping there 4 years, the freah produce is by far the best in the area and service is fast and convenient.

After the recent 2019 Upgrade the Center has become busy and traffic is an issue. That said Checkers has a fresh new look and a welcome change. Inside is nice and clean, the isles are a bit on the narrow side thus during peak shopping it feels like you are on your way to work on the highway... Stop.... go.

Good for all your shopping needs, the store layout is very good, easy to find products you need and they have enough personal at the tills so you don't stand in the queue forever, the lighting in the store is also very good and this creates a good shopping experience

Local, fully stocked supermarket, staff generally ok except for a few ignoramous people. I shop there very regularly.

The upgrade has done wonders for the store.Checkers please do one thing..close the front of the salad bar and let your staff serve the customers.People breathing,coughing,sneezing etc over the salad bar is not healthy .I will never buy the salad until this is done
