The Sweat Shop in Dunkeld is notorious for being able to find the perfect running shoe. I was skeptical until I went in myself. The staff are incredibly friendly, knowledgeable and supportive. Their advice is firm but they try to help you make the best choice for you. I have, what feels like, the best running shoe I’ve ever had. It’s comfortable, supportive and easy to run in. It’s not ridiculously overpriced and you’ll get your monies worth. It’s a personalised experience, that is 100% worth your time. Highly recommended!

I had a wonderful shopping experience with a gentleman named Victor who took the time to assist with replacing my old running shoes with the latest version of the Asics Gel-Numbus. He was very friendly and methodical and even taught me a new way to tie my laces! People like Victor add that very special human touch through his geniune care and concern for the customer's needs. The in-person shopping experience at The Sweat Shop certainly beats going on-line!

After going to other shops to buy shoes where the staff were unhelpful it was a pleasure to go to the Sweat Shop where the staff were polite and very helpful. The pain from my hamstrings I had been experiencing on the outside of both my knees virtually melted over 5 minutes after I was fitted with new shoes. It has been 3 days now wearing my new shoes so here is hoping it lasts.

These guys completely went over and above. I bought a pair of shoes which after a few runs was giving discomfort constantly. I went back a few weeks later, explained the situation. They identified the issue and swooped my shoes which I did not expect without having to make a new/ partial payment. A really fantastic shop. The range of shoes is great and although the prices are slightly higher its totally worth it. The employees are fantastic. Their knowledge of the shoes is great and they help you look at the different pairs and see what works best for you. Absolutely fantastic service makes it so worth it!

The Sweat Shop Dunkeld was recommended to me by a friend who is a podiatrist, after 30 minutes in store it's changed my running. Now I can't recommend them enough! I spent most of life hating running, cracking those lame jokes that make runners roll their eyes but got into recently, then injured myself. The cause was wearing the wrong shoes. The store staff are so knowledgeable. They fitted the right shoe (and size), gave advice on how to tie my shoes and care for them to make them last has got running further and more often. Give them a visit
