This is the place to see in Hermanus. It’s a shop, where you can find literally EVERYTHING which is collectible (CokaCola-Stuff, matchboxes, model-cars, Uniform-things, and much more). There is a little cinema inside, where old films can be seen once a week.

Love this place. Nostalgia at it's best. From an Old Coca Cola collection, vintage toys to vintage porcelain sets, WWII memorabilia, vintage crockery, old tins collection, vintage clothing you name it, they've got it. Take your time to appreciate their great selection.

Such wonderful treasures from the past. A very enjoyable browse around, and we always manage to find something to buy. This time was a set of crystal glasses and beautiful crocheted drink mats.

This was a RARE find. FAB place has its own little cinema inside , showing old movies..FABULOUS. !!! We saw HIGH SOCIETY with Grace Kelley and Bing Crosby. They show different movies every week, plus they have a great vintage clothes section upstairs ,plus it is an antique shop, selling bone China tea sets and dinner services and cut glass items. Really enjoyed wandering around. A definite !!

An absolute must visit when in Hermanus, quaint hideaway which even has a movie theatre with classic black and white, and a stunning military section. Make a turn, you will not regret it.

While Romantiques is a retail antique shop, it is more like a museum where you can buy the exhibits. The military range is especially worth a visit. From medals and insignia, to weapons and uniforms. Everything is collectable and for sale. Well worth a visit, regardless of your interests.

A must experience, if you're driving through Hermanus. I've never encountered such a well curated collection of antiques, I especially loved the military memorobilia, the massive shelf of curiosity salt&pepper shakers, and the lovely little theater with all the old photos and camera equipment.

I was amazed to find such a gem of a place in Hermanus! If you are into old things this is a must-see, even if you buy nothing. But most things are for sale (credit card facilities are now available). Browse through old toy cars such as Dinky Toys, to WWI and WWII helmets, old and more recent bayonets, things from the SA Border War, badges and medals of honour, original SAA and SADF clothing, collector's pieces of all sorts, knives, etc, etc etc. If this sort of thing interests you, prepare to spend half a day here. If old stuff is not your thing, still visit with a short walk-through for the educational value and a peak into the past. They criss-cross the country to find these things, so if you can corner the owner, you could get back-stories on some of the items, or at least period correct info. For time away from the beach, going here must be on your to-do list!!!

Magical,hidden gem and so proud to have them in Hermanus. It is like a interactive museum and shop that takes you down memory lane and a world full of mysteries and wonders. What a delightful place.

Such a great and fun/educational experience! The staff are super friendly and helpful :) there is an old coke machine, and I got to play on an old school pinball machine!

Amazing, anyone going to Hermanus should pay it a visit, from original working juke box to pin ball machine, bone China to armies of miniature soldiers you can spend the best part of a day here, only draw back no card facilities

One of the musts to go for - lovely Antiques and clean wellkept order, special attraction is an old instore functional cinema, where one can enjoy old movies being played - usually on saturdays, a truly romantique encounter with the past and high grade small antiques, an army and navy section etc.etc., highly recommendable!!
