I started my sewing journey with Rafah’s Sewing Studio by doing the Pattern Design course. When I first started I was very apprehensive because sewing seemed soooo intimidating but under Farahnaazs’ guidance I felt at ease. She is very patient and breaks the process down in bite size chucks so that it is easy to understand. She encourages you along the way when things start to feel overwhelming and pushes you to challenge yourself. Things that I learnt from my course are as follows: - How to read and draw a pattern from scratch using your own measurements. - How to transfer the pattern to material and how to cut it. - How to use a sewing machine and its features properly. - How to sew your pattern together! - Most importantly - practice makes perfect! After my course I feel confident in my pattern design and sewing skills. If you are interested in learning about sewing I would recommend Rafah’s Sewing School, there are different options to choose from based on your needs 🙂
