I began with WGRUV dance company January 2022 and I have had the blessing of training alongside JAC students under the mentorship of the world renowned JAC faculty. I was exposed to both Vaganova and true Martha Graham technique and although it was a challenge to change the way I have trained for years, this opportunity has been incredible! The teachers at JAC are truly amazing, they're caring, kind and help you reach your goals by equipping you with the tools to enter into a professional world of dance. My experience with JAC and WGRUV has been the most technically advanced and intense training I have encountered over my dance career and I look forward to years to come,where I am motivated to learn and grow in both my dancing and in my walk of life.

JAC is a ONE OF A KIND dance facility in South Africa. In all the years of being involved in the dance industry, I have yet to come across such an amazing organization. It caters to all the needs of strong dancers, aged 12 years and older, who’s dream and ambition it is to pursue a career in dance. As not all dancers aspire to become classical ballerina’s, JAC aspires to train, mentor and shape dancers in a diverse range of genres, with the best trainers and coaches the industry has to offer. Full time students receive training in classical ballet, pilates, conditioning and contemporary dance as well as music theory. Each month guest teachers from across the globe offer classes, either live or virtual, that contribute to the training of well rounded dancers. JAC is not only suited to full time students, but also offer part time or A La Carte programs. Classes can be booked on their website. JAC makes every effort to create performance opportunities where dancers can share their passion with the audience. Soon, JAC will have their own outdoor space to showcase their work whilst adhering to Covid regulations. The heart of JAC lies in the strong values and character they continuously build into the dancers through the JAC Connect Sessions that will become a guiding light in their futures as they navigate life, with or without dance. We are truly blessed to be part of the JAC family!
