C. T.Great everything , honestly love the atmosphere it's so cozy and relaxing. Staff is always friendly and the food is AMAZING. Their cappuccino is so good , and on a hot day get their strawberry jug , it's a bit pricey but it's worth it for the quality and quantity.

t. v.Our waitress was very rude. She made us feel like a big inconvenience being there. It was the female waiter on Sunday evening. She looked upset and unhappy being at work the whole night. Not welcoming at all. Food and wine was incredible. Even when we overtipped, she just walked away unhappy. The other male waiters were very friendly and pleasant.

A.Strolling through Stellenbosch on a hot Sunday afternoon, we walked past and had to sit down. The picturesque and idyllic setting is remisicnt of a European cafe. For a few hours, you forget where you are and are engrossed by your surroundings. There is no better way to spend your afternoon than enjoying an ice-cold beer and induling in good food. Service was attentive, food delicious, and portions more than generous. The experience is just as magical during the evening as well, so it's always a good time to visit.
A. S.A lovely atmosphere with great and friendly staff. The food was amazing with fresh ingredients and some of the best food I have ever had. Our waitress was wonderful and friendly, a pleasure to interact with and the owner was friendly and humble. Will definitely plan on coming back
L. O.Nice Italian restaurant on the street outside. Quick service. Unfortunately there is no lock on the inside of the bathroom door and someone tried to open my door twice while I was using the toilet. They should strongly consider a lock as this was very irritating.

M. P.Bustling pavement cafe in the heart of town. Offering a mix-and-match choice of pasta and sauces is a great idea, but it was disappointing that tagliatelle wasn't available. Spag bol was decent, but as for the pizza... Bring your own hacksaw. It's that tough to cut!
R. a. z.I’m from Rome and there’s NO OTHER RESTAURANT in Cape Town that is TRULY Roman. They also have the best Roman street foods such as Fior Di Zucca and Supplì, a really pleasant surprise for those romans missing home.
L. H.I took my son and daughter in law here this evening, it was my first visit but they already love it and now I know why. Our food was delicious, staff delightful and prices very reasonable. I've never had such delicious gnocchi, so light and not at all stodgy. I can definitely recommend Rome in a Bite.

However what annoys me is that they offer beer on tap but nowhere to be found on a menu i.e. price and brand is not indicated be it the food menu or wine menu. We are wine lovers as a rule, but a hot summers day X4 beers later for R236???????? + the smallest pizza @ just under R100 (which I will give them credit for, delicious!).......come on guys......get with the program please. R59 a beer is by all accounts rather extreme! I could of had 2 bottles of excellent Rose @ R105/bottle # sparkling water and at least walked away not feeling ripped off. Dinner last night at another local (steak&hamburger with sides) cost less than 4 beers and a small pizza.
T. T.Delicious food. Value for money. Great ambiance. I'd have given 5 starts had it not been for the fact that halfway through our meal our waitress went home and didn't hand us over to anyone so we received no service or attention for a while... Waited ages for our bill
