I love and appreciate Pitso, I think they’re the only place that still make a mean kota(bunny chow) like we people from other provinces are used to and absolutely love. Their menu in its entirety is pretty great(it’s always sad when you get there, rarely though what you want isn’t on the kitchen menu that day) but great service always. You don’t wait long for food. Great for smaller and larger groups and in the evenings I see now on weekends is a vibe. The only challenge I’ve had with them is on 3 occasions I’ve ordered trotters(take way) and they were not cooked well done & properly properly cleaned and other times they were very dry. But other than that, this is my place 👌🏽

For now I'll give a rating of 3 because there's room for improvement, I should add the Food was excellent 👌🏽👌🏽👌🏽. Apon arrival the staff made us stand around as they tried to figure out how to seat us (some confusion) and that makes you as a customer feel bit out of place. Not sure about the seating plan but maybe it works for them and the tables were unstable, also as we sat down to eat and enjoyed our drinks the waiters kept checking up on us(which may not be a bad thing) but they leaned over us which made you sit a bit uncomfortable for a few seconds as you were eating. Concluding it's a beautiful place with great prices and it's only those few things that needs improvement.

Delicious traditional South African food (Ox tails were my favorite) presented with perfection. The food, the people, the music (Zonke), and the ambiance make this place a must visit. Thabong was a great host and server.

The vibe was good but the food had little variety to choose from. One couldn't substitute what they don't eat for something else. Their meat portions was small for the price they put tgeir vors is so thin and should be called a sausage and not wors. They should up their game on the food department.

First time tasting “mogodu” and it was amazing. Loved the vibe and the patrons were also great. Got to meet the manager, what a pleasant experience👌🏽👌🏽👌🏽. Definitely the place to go when you’re feeling home sick😅

The set up and the vibe was nice ,food delicious en the portions ok but the waiters take long to serve you,and most of the meals on the Menu are not available,plus the waiter who served me made away with my change which I find horrible to tip yourself on top of the tip I paid with my bill 🤔

Awesome place, conveniently located by the harbor @ Makers Landing. They sell tasty African food i.e tribe, deboned cow head, braai meat, steamed bread, pap, chakalaka etc. I personally enjoy the tribe- it's well cleaned and cooked to perfection 👌

Went there lastweek on Heritage day... the food was nice but the service was too bad we had to find ourselves a table that was dirty and asked 1 of the waiter to assist but none was helping we had to ask for menu... and they gave us the menu after 50 minutes.
