I had a 4-star experience at the KFC in Maitland recently. I ordered an All-Star meal and a Sweet Chili wrap, and overall, it wasn’t too bad. Most of the food was enjoyable, especially the wrap, which had just the right balance of sweetness and spice. The fries were fresh, and the chicken was cooked well, as you’d expect from KFC. That said, it wasn’t perfect. The meal took a little longer than I anticipated, even though it wasn’t very busy. Also, while the wrap was great, the burger in the All-Star meal felt a bit rushed—it could have been fresher. Still, for a quick stop, it’s a solid choice. The staff were friendly enough, and my order was correct, which isn’t always a guarantee at fast-food places. I’d say it’s a decent KFC branch where you can get your usual favorites without much disappointment. A good experience overall, though not quite perfect.

Best service the Cashier was full of energy and enthusiasm. Had the best box master my sister had wings and my daughter had the all star box. It was easy to add hope from the smiles from Mama Gugu and andisiswa . Will definitely come back and recommend the shop. It was also clean and had a lady that was checking on our receipts.

The service was a bit slow. But not seriously. The place most conveniently situated on Voortrekker Road and next to Shoprite. I wanted to go inside to sit down and eat because the parking is fairly secure. It's not a posh place, but I love the fact that working class people on their way home from a hard day, can hop off the taxi, buy supper for their families and hop on another taxi to be on their way home again. What touched me was a young couple, very much in love, who came in, bought their meals, sat down, ate, and shared what their day was like with each other. I couldn't hear what they were saying but I could see she had a lot to say while he patiently smiled, nodded and ate steadily. Eventually after they were both done, they got up, cleared their table and left arm in arm. Immediately after as I prepared to leave, a tipsy gentleman with a twinkle in his eye asked me if he could have my leftover bones for his dog because if he got home and the dog knew it was a Friday and he had been to KFC but brought nothing home for him, that would seriously jeopardize the friendship! I had half a Sprite leftover so I figured he deserved that too! 😅

Had really friendly staff, food KFC so you know what you are getting. But the extra star is definitely for the happy atmosphere and clear friendship shown in the store. Enjoyed the positive atmosphere while ordering and waiting for my order. Well done to the staff!

This KFC service's the best fried chicken and the speed of food preparation is on cloud nine even though they're short staffed because of the Taxi strict but they working hard to serve us the best fried chicken in Town👌👌👨‍🍳👩‍🍳🍗🍟

We have been buying here for the past 4 months and the service is always just 100%. I am not sure if I'm delusional, but the 2nd best KFC ever is the KFC in Goodwood . They open i think at 6am and service the morning is always 100%. KFC Maitland, keep up the good service and your store is always to " DAM CLEAN" . The chicken is never oily as well. Thank You

At 11am there wasnt any que..but still waited a while because the women behind the counter had a conversation that was clearly more interesting than a customer waiting to be served..had a breakfast meal..egg and patty on a bun with chips and coffee..the burger was small and dry...chips wad ok...coffee made me fart all day

Very slow service, waited 40mins to get our orders. Had a hard time getting.to the counter due to to the number of Uber eats and Mr delivery drivers hanging around the counter.

So much better than Plattekloof.. U would think that Plattekloof being a more upmarket place would serve decent meals.. But the burger made by this KFC was Juicy with enough mayo fresh salad and definatley freshly served
