Excellent meal from this quaint restaurant just off kloof Street main road,meals are really good being the sister restaurant of Saray in the waterfront the food is as good for reasonable price...portions are generous & quite filling...staff are great...

The experience and especially the food gets better and better each time. The portions are more than generous and the breads are not bad but really elevates the dish it is paired with. My all time favorite is the Corba (lentil soup) served with a delicious chewy bread. Definitely worth a visit. I will be returning soon but for now I need to walk the food off😊❤️

Last night was my first time at EatStanbul Restaurant and my friends and I really enjoyed it. The waitress knew her menu and could make recommendations for our group. The food and the ambiance was really great. It was value for money and the food was tasty. I had a cup of kavhe which was the only disappointment as it was a bit weak from what I know. Other than that, I'll certainly return.

The food was tasty and the portions hearty. It was appreciated that a table was made available even though we did not book. The waiter was attentive too. We noticed a service charge when paying (it is explained in the menu). We were happy to pay the said charge however when enquiring as to who received said amount the waiter indicated that it was not for them and if they did receive a portion it would be after the chef and barman. We were not happy to pay same as we would like to have had the 10% charge (customary as a tip) allocated to the waiter for his efforts and not have to tip over and above said service charge. When querying same the manager allowed the amount to fall away and we proceeded to tip the waiter 10%. Please look into this. Other than the aforementioned we enjoyed the meal.

Had a great experience. Went on a weekend for lunch and was pleasantly not busy. Chicken was absolutely amazing. Presentation was really well done and the portion was very filling. Would definitely be down to return.

Excellent meal from this quaint restaurant just off kloof Street main road...it's a halaal restaurant so do'nt expect alcohol...meals are really good being the sister restaurant of Saray in the waterfront the food is as good for reasonable price...portions are generous & quite filling...presentation is great...only issue was the side entrance door where we were sitting was constantly opened & closed by the cleaners & everyone which detracted from the nice atmosphere in the restaurant...

Excellent food experience. Best Turkish menu outside of Turkey :-) Well prepared and a feast for the eye. Everyone at our table felt it exceeded expectations. Hands on management. Note, there is no alcohol served, nor allowed to bring your own.

One of the best Turkish restaurant in the city of Cape Town. The food is great. Love the presentation! Great ambience and very friendly service. We ordered the mix grill platter for 4 to 5 people which had all the met grills, we also ordered beef mince pide and kunafeh for dessert. Everything was excellent. Highly recommend it.

What an absolute great introduction to Turkish cuisine❤️. This was our first time at Eatsanbul and will definitely not be the last. The restaurant is beautiful and cozy. The waiters were all friendly. Our waiter Haneen was extremely helpful and informed. It was such a pleasure being served by her. The food was Amazing👌🎉. I had the Beyti Kebab and my husband the Adana Nazik. Both of these dishes was great and flavourful. Thank you team Eatsanbul for an amazing experience 🙌Till next time

I came back from a trip from Türkiye last year and was craving their cuisine ever since. I have not been to the restaurant but ordered via MrD twice. The food was AMAZING, after each bite I said yummy, not even joking! The portions are also massive! They really are spot on when it comes to the cuisine, felt like I was back in Türkiye. 100/10 & can't wait to order again! Just wish they would've made the durum's not only lunch menu but also an evening menu as the durum's are so delicious!

Don't have Almond milk, only neg. And ... still don't have almond milk 🤷‍♂️. However, the Mint Tea is an awesome option.

We ate there last night and as my partner is Pakistani I wanted to give him the Turkish experience seeing it was Eid. With the first step into the door there was a lady that seated us hardly smiling. During the course of the night we had 3 different people taking orders and not one that could speak English properly. There was no excitement in explaining the dishes, so plain and boring. As a waiter you are like a sales person trying to sell and advertise the food wanting us to eat more but the vibe was kinda like Im here because I have to be. Food was amazing but the service dissapointing.

Second time here & great food as always. Had the fillet steak this time - perfectly grilled & tender 👌 Ps. There was a mistake with my order and my waiter (Desire) handled it superbly & I left the venue a happy customer. The reality is that things go wrong sometimes - it’s more about how the company reacts that decides the final impression. Compliments again to Desire & mgmt - will be back again 👍

Fantastic and authentic Turkish food. The best Turkish place I've been to in CT. The Iskender Kebab is delicious, and Beyti Kebab too. Will definitely be back - it's worth the hour's drive from where I live.

Although the food was really good I was terribly disappointed to note that a service fee is charged, and the proceeds of that charge do not go to the server but is shared amongst the barman and chefs. I have never encounted that practice before.

Turkish restaurant. Their food is halal. The taste is delicious and the service is excellent. We met the chef from Syria, a gentleman 👍 Prices are relatively good. Our order was 1- Mix grill grill for 260 rand. It comes with pieces of kebab meat, ribs, a piece of kofta, and chicken, with potatoes and red rice. 2- Adana Kebab Meat skewer with potatoes and rice. 3- Hummus 75 rand 4- A large, delicious cheesecake for 100 rand, I think They brought us a plate of mixed appetizers and a dinner tea. I recommend visiting it.

One of the rare Turkish restaurants you can find in Cape Town. Their appetizers and kebabs are very delicious. It is as good as Turkey. No alcohol, raki etc. If you miss your hometown, just skip it. You won't regret it.
