Fantastic service. Food hot when it arrived at table. Delicious burger with herbs within the patty. Patty was succulent. Home made bun. Atmosphere of restaurant great, relaxing and love the neighborhood it's situated within.

This is one of the very few restaurants in the east to maintain quality and sense of community for a very long time, owner run, with attention to detail, food and service is beyond describe, this is one place you meet people from the neighborhood frequently and above all, it's pet friendly which makes it ideal for dog lovers.

Best Greek food in South Africa… feels like home cooked meals…!!! I strongly recommend the ribeye steak.. absolutely amazing… service is excellent.. Well behaved Dogs are allowed which made this place awesome..

Steaks were great. Perfectly done. A lot of dishes come with bok choy. They don’t have bok choy. Replacement is green beans and mushrooms. The prawns wasn’t good. Meat stuck to the shells and they were boiled in water. Really disappointing.

First visit to Prosopa. We did not make a reservation but the waiter could help us to a table outside. Just a pity one could not see the menu properly under the poor lighting. There were a number of empty tables that had the reserved sign on but no one pitched the whole evening. We had a large variety of foods off the menu. The highlight was the aubergine. Everyone in our party of 4 enjoyed their meal but I have definitely had way better prawns than those served. The halloumi was also average. The wine prices were "breathtaking"! Very, very pricey and some were absolutely unaffordable. That was probably the main disappointment of the evening. Never saw the owner at all. Not sure if I'll be back. Still waiting for a Greek Restaurant that deserves the 5 stars.

My BF and I went to Prosopa for dinner on Thurs, 12 August 2021 to celebrate my birthday. The host or the man who received us at the door was not friendly at all. I did, however, like that you can make a booking beforehand so that your table is reserved. The ambience has low lights to achieve that romantic and intimate set-up. I loved the food and of course the cocktails were great. I would definitely visit it again. The waiter was friendly and he kept on suggesting new cocktails for me to try. And he was kind enough to offer us one glass of champagne each since it was my birthday.

This a lovely restaurant. I highly recommend it. They give top notch service. The food is absolutely delicious. I was impressed that when we were leaving the manager came to bid us farewell and walked us out. I have a feeling that this is going to be my favourite restaurant. Excellent service.

Visited the Restaurant for the first time. I was totally blown away by, firstly their friendly and professional service. The menu was top notice with all the dishes to choose from. We order the rib eye, the food was perfectly prepared and seasoned. Staff was friendly and efficient. The owner came twice to our table and had a conversation with us. Definitely and owner that has got a passion for his restaurant a passion in serving people and seeing his customers happy. Will definitely support Prosopa from now on.

The atmosphere is very intimate and luxurious. It feels very exclusive. The wine selection is extra ordinary and the corkage fee is very reasonable. The waitrons are passionate and well informed about the food and wine. It's great for a special night out.

Very tasty food. Warm atmosphere. A little weird that the manager didn't come to our table but checked up on all the "regular" tables repeatedly, he did tell us that he's intimidated by big tables although we were the only big table that wasn't visited. Other than that it would've been a perfect 5/5. Would recommend.

Absolutely outstanding!!!, I have eaten there many times. The Menus is Mediterranean my favourite items are the Tapas/Meze, any of the steaks, lamb shank and Rooibos Creme Brulee. The food quality is very high, the waiters are well trained, the wine list is one of the best in SA, atmosphere is clean and sophisticated, great place for lunch or supper, book one of the booths if you want a more intimate romantic time with someone special.

Incredible service from Dino and Edwin, as well as mind blowing food! Soft and romantic evening ambiance with gentle lighting and music. Definitely worth your while. We ate the rib eye steak with camembert, black pepper sauce and green beans, and the lamb chops with tahini yogurt and the best lentils I've ever eaten.

Upon arrival Dino, the owner, met us and walked us to our table where he regularly visited during the time there to check whether everything was ok and we were having a good time. Very important in my view for any restaurant worth it's proverbial 'salt'. The rest of the service was of a very high standard and the Amuse-bouche and starters did not disappoint, being true to their Greek heritage. The mains lacked a bit of imagination and seasoning imo. and I would have loved for the background music to create more of the Mediterranean feel. Good wine selection and decently priced.
