This is a nice little place to try some locally crafted drinks. The variety is great and it seems to always have nice people visiting this establishment. The food is decent, but you do pay hefty for what you get if you order their small plates. I got 4 wings for the price of an entire chicken which to me does not feel right. But anything if the main menu is great. I had their classic burger and it was good. The beers they have are very good and would recommend this to anybody wanting to taste some local beers. The cocktails, again, are very expensive for what you get. I would stick to beers here. The staff were nice and actively helping us. Had a good time here. A bit of a weird place as you sit next to Conrad which is a very busy road, but it contributes to the overall feel of the place. All in all, I enjoy my visits here and would recommend it to beer lovers and explorers.

What a lekker spot on the Spuit for a beer whilst out for a mountain bike ride. The only thing holding this place back from major improvement is the single waitress serving the beer drinkers. Teach her to read the way to offer refills before they're empty, and vibe will Improve in proportion to the fresh beers being quaffed by eager clientelle

A bit biased as I love Mad Giant beer. Staff are great and the food is typical "bar" food with a nice twist. The only thing is sitting outside next to a busy street wrecks any atmosphere. But again that's not why you go to the taproom. You go to try their signature and co lab beers.

Great taproom on the road. Bustling and noisy just like it should be. Beer is also great, which should be obvious. We often play dominoes and relax while having good craft beer and food from a great menu. Proper pub food but with oomph. The kitchen serves things like cheese covered thick chips, among other rich, amazing dishes..goes well with great beer.

Nice atmosphere, with a good selection of craft beers (both local and international). A variety of upmarket sharing dishes, loaded wedges and burgers are available on the menu, many with a fair portion size for the price. Board and card games are also available to play at your table.

The Beer is great but the food is a ripoff. R100 for 2 x small taco shells . So if we go there again its for the beer not the food...?sad though would go to the Fat Zebra where the food is affordable and there is Mad Giant IPA
