I absolutely love the layout of this restaurant, the black and white images on the exposed brick walls, the expansive ceiling laced with rafters, the mismatched furniture, cutlery and crockery and the way the bar and stage is set up makes me feel like I'm a detective meeting a shady character named 'Mo' for some information. Although the staff was not as friendly as I would have liked, I really enjoyed my spinach omelette. It was huge and filling and fluffy. I'll definitely go again, maybe this time, to experience the night life.

Initially wanted the Sfiziosa but they did not have all the ingredients so I opted for the Corsicano and I was not disappointed. Fresh ingredients were used and the pizza was amazing. I love that they gave us a decent amount of Parmesan on the side. Everything on the menu is reasonably priced and the overall aesthetic of the restaurant is charming & retro. After our meal we moved tables and sat in front of the fire place which had a cosy vibe to it.

Oh wow! What a gem, friends of ours said we should give it a try if we get to PE, so we popped in this week and what an awesome experience, the food, the setting, the decor are all marvelous! Definitely one of the best eating places in the city, and well worth a visit.

The service was good. The food was beautifully presented and a lot more filling then I originally thought it would be. I recommend the lasagne and the gnocchi dishes, very warm and filling. A great place to go with friends or the whole family.

My favourite thing is definitely the aesthetic of the place. It’s so spacious and beautiful! The food was okay. The service was a 1000/10 :). Our waiter was Keanu and he instantly made us feel at home and has a very nice soft personality. Thank you for your excellent service!

Awesome vibe. Love the scenery and decoration of this 'little italy'. It feels authentic and the meal options are just as amazing. The staff are friendly and it feels really cozy here, whether you're in a booth or sitting at the bar. This area of Port Elizabeth is fast becoming the best. I loved it here. They also host bigger tables which was nice for us.

La Dolce Vita for our 10 years wedding anniversary ❤ From the moment our lunch arrived, we were welcomed by the delectable aroma of the pasta. Gluten free and vegan Ala norna penne pasta. So yummy and mouth-watering. Followed by a nice cuppa of Rooibos tea. La Dolce Vita meaning: [singular] (from Italian) ​a life of pleasure and expensive things, without any worries.

Toughest steak I have ever had. Don't usually order steak at Remos. Usually have Pizza or pasta. Never had a bad meal. So lesson learnt. Will go back to pasta or pizza. The burgers are great. Will however give the steaks a miss in future.

What a wonderful place, quite unassuming from the outside, after entering I was surprised at what was going on inside. The restaurant is very nicely decorated with old photos & bits of art & crafts. The service was efficient & the food was tasty and with decent portions. Take a walk around & take a look at the shops & other events available

Entire experience was great!! One critique might be that the live misoc was too loud. Sitting in the furthest corner it was still a bit of a problem having to raise your voice over the music.

When I started coming here it was no 2 in authentic Italian restaurants in PE. The chef had changed the bolognaise sauce and it is practically perfect as the waitresses will testify who are also brilliant.

Wow! coffee is great ( I am a trained barista). Pizza looks and tastes like it has traveled to italy. Staff is always Positive and smiles everytime we visit. Decor is fantastic! It's basically a urban/rustic historic NY city tipe of vibe. They took a big risk putting the restaurant in a underground/hidden place near BSB. In my opinion it was a great idea! not once have I seen the place empty, making it hard to ever sit down and eat there, but if find a seat or two, good luck getting out. the food is so good you will never leave the place. Simply outstanding! They have designed the place from the bottom up. They gathered all the information in the world about Italian cuisine and mastered it. Don't miss out, just go!

It's literally like being in Italy 🇮🇹. Genuine cuisine wonderful and most accomodating personnel. We had pizza with prosciutto, various pastas, lasagna and to end tiramissu with nonino Grapa with espressos. What a memorable dîner. Will definetely make another call. First authentic Italian pizza in SA. Real tagliatelle Bolognese. Amazing arancinis, exceptional marinated peppers & aubergines accompanied with outstanding ciabatta, refreshing elderflower g&t (wallflower), great selection of importated Italian beverages. Friendly and efficient service. I would love some classic Italian desserts. Skipped that and went for one of the best espressos I had in SA thus far (after 5years being here). I am utterly impressed and am looking forward to returning. Thank you!
