Works of art and lots to eat.
Covid regulations are strictly maintained.
Like the name suggest, this is really a neighborhood small market with a good mix of craft, food, drinks and clothing... Good for a casual walkabout, only open on Saturday
Aaa at last Christmas & New year is over! one can breathe again at the markets, this one worth a stop
Awesome variety of freshly prepared foods and beverages. Something for the sweet tooth and everything in between. Art and crafts, original clothing and sufficient sitting areas. Parking is a breeze and payment options aplenty. Will definitely be going back again for the sausages and Chorizo😋
Great food and wide variety of local crafts. Week with stopping in if you're in the area.
Really good market for health and quality conscious consumers. Beautiful setting. Don't miss out on the elderly baker couple in the main building. Their cake and waffles are to die for.
Great selection of beautiful food and craft items. I had a coffee and delicious samoosas (super fresh and crispy) and a piece of baklava which conpares to the best I have ever tasted. Well worth a visit!
There is no better way to spend a Saturday morning ... great variety of tasty food dishes and fresh fruit and veggies. Craft beers and wines. Hand crafted goods all locally produced are available.
Good choice of stalls African beading, sculptures, art. Jewellery, clothing, wood work, glass plates, fresh vegetables meats sausag, olives cheeses honey and a wide selection of food to choose from. And enjoyable Sat morning outing.
What a gorgeous place for Sunday lunch. Surrounded by the mountains, drinking wine. There are a bunch of good food stalls that will satisfy any tastes. I started with the chocolate covered donuts and then had the lamb roti. Finishing off with the deep fried barone. And now I am sorry I didn't leave space for the flatbread or the vetkoek. Oh well next time !
Nice an small with lots of interesting items to buy from the stalls. However the variety also includes the normal african art and artifacts that you can buy from any other market. You will have to try some of the food items from the different stores, the craft beers and the gin cocktails. There is quite a variety to choose from. Then there is still the fresh baked breads and preserves. Apart from the limited amount of seating space where you can sit and eat, this is definately one market that you must visit when in Stellenbosch.
Good family experience. Was there for Japan centenary celebration activities. Worth the drive. Set in beautiful surroundings near the mountains.
Best way to start your Saturday and offered great food (there is a hallal store as well) great desserts

Crowded but really nice crafts. Some vendors are up to bargain so bring cash and be ready to negotiate. Eat Samoosas, sample the wine and try every piece of Biltong on offer.
Great coffee and craft
Not that busy so was very enjoyable. The dancing girls were noisy and did not sing but shouted making talking to our guests almost impossible.
Such a great market! Wonderful food options, including vegan options. Relaxing atmosphere and not too crowded
Needs a rethink. There's just enough beer to forget about climbing over five prams to get to the falafel table. Then you get to watch CEO types "do" oysters and champagne against a backdrop of horrific African craft. The 3 stars are for the falafel.
Very nice. More veriety of food would be great but it's a great place to visit :)
Great little market. Good variety of food and drink to choose from, and in a very serene setting.
Its a very nice place its just rather small and not something that will take alot of time to walk through.
Amazing people..beautiful things on sale, food very tasty.l shall visit again
Pretty cool place to visit. Reason for 3 stars no entertainment sorry or kids play area.
Great market, lots of great vendors, food and others. Under cover so you can go rain or shine.
A popular out- and indoor market. There is a good variety of food to choose from. There is clothes as well as ornamental goods on sale
Definitely still the best market in stellenbosch. The intimate atmosphere and variety at this market is amazing while still keeping to it's local roots.
Veriety, quality, safe parking
Good vibe! A wide variety of unique artisanal food, drinks and other goods on offer.
Fantastic food and drinks on offer. Nice gift options too.
Good quality food and clothing. Excellent market to go and relax over weekend's
Nice atmosphere , but parking guys are more busy with their phones, and the toilets are in a bad state, could use some attention
Best market in the area, wonderful ambiance, good food and product. A must visit if in Stellenbosch on a Saturday.
Too busy. Says dog-friendly but dont think it suitable for our furry babies
Always a nice experience. Like the waffles and cream- that's why I go.
Great stalls. Not kid-friendly. Difficult to move around with a stroller.
Without question one of the top markets to visit in and around Cape Town. Incredible vibe. ❤️
Great variety. Would like to see less single use plastic packaging
Ample parking great food and beautiful art.Take your best friends with!!
Lovely atmosphere and great food vendors. Glassblowing stall is a must!

Love the food, the ambience and the people ❤
Awesome morning. Good food
Great place to shop local!
Unusual shopping
Small and expensive. Cute factor.
Absolutely marvellous experience.
Lovely cuisine!
Solid food market - nothing special
Love it!
Great market. It's worth skipping breakfast 'at home' and instead buying something here and sitting down with some wine and enjoying it. Of course there is also jewelry, pictures, sculptures, skins... juices, bread, biltong, meat, etc. are definitely great. The whole area is clean and well maintained. Simply great and cozy.
Every Saturday there is a wonderful small market with wonderful cakes
Nice small-scale market where food comes first, but non-food is also plentiful
The market has lost a lot of its charm in recent years. Stalls were steadily reduced or replaced with boring art. Families with children or locals rarely meet anymore. The market is clearly dominated by tourists.
Nice little market, more worth it in the summer months as you can sit outside (covered) and there are many outdoor stalls.
Awesome place...just couldn't get any cold drinks for my kids. Bring it along for them.
Lots of handicrafts, lots of food, very colorful. A must on the weekend.
A nice market
Delicious food, delicious coffee and delicious beer
