r. e.we arrive in Knysna about twenty days after furious fires devastated the area and forced thousands of people to flee. The hotel also suffered damage and repair work is underway. The owners are extremely kind and worried about the disturbance of vehicles and men who work. In reality we had no problems of any kind and instead enjoyed excellent hospitality. Excellent breakfasts pampered by a friendly and very kind chef. Position overlooking the city and the bay with magnificent views of the lagoon. Spacious room (and bathroom!) with attention to detail. Free WiFi in the room.
D. N.We spent three nights at the Madison Manor Boutique Hotel. It has lovely views over the bay and a lovely terrace with pool area. The restaurant offers very good service and delicious dinner. The breakfast is also great!||The rooms are somewhat rustic in contrast to the modern building. Very clean and nice - great housekeeping!||Two nights would have been enough for the region. We spent three relaxing days on the Garden Route. The ladies at reception were very friendly and always helped us.
g.We stayed at the Madison Manor Boutique Hotel for two nights on our South Africa tour. Unfortunately, in our opinion, we made the wrong choice here.||When we arrived, we ended up in the township because the TomTom doesn't know the address/street. When we were greeted we were recommended "Google Maps" - it's not that easy if you don't have the opportunity to buy a SIM card. "But now they're here"||The room was super small, the bathroom was wet on the second night due to rain (roof is leaking). ||The breakfast was very......??We left without breakfast on the second morning. First everything was empty and then came half-finished burnt croissants. We weren't the only ones who left without breakfast!! ||The wine from the minibar was the most expensive of all the hotels.
G. O.With a beautiful view of the bay, it can't be bad if you like views. The breakfast is good, the pool is large enough to cool off, the rooms are nice and large and everything is behind a large gate. In the evening you can choose from various wines and spirits and enjoy the view. There are multiple rooms, but you will have a private experience. Highly recommended if you follow the garden route.
m. k.At Madison Manor they only want one thing: to please their guests. A good breakfast, neat rooms, wonderful beds, a nice swimming pool and a beautiful view over Knysna. The "chef", but also the man of all things, is so enthusiastic that you can start your day in a good mood. We had wonderful days in Knysna, partly thanks to the employees of this hotel. Highly recommended!!
C. R.Of course you cannot have everything in one accommodation, if you are located on a hill with a beautiful view you cannot be centrally located in the harbor itself. When we were there for 2 nights, there were relatively few other hotel guests, which made it feel like "faded glory", especially on the first day. However, the second morning here it was pleasantly full of other hotel visitors during breakfast. Hostess was very helpful with a taxi and nice restaurants.

It is very close to some of the best restaurants in the city, we preferred to go by car just because of the cold, but you can go on foot. I would come back a thousand times.
