Beat breakfasts and staff are outstanding. Spotlessly clean and always ready to help with anything you may ask for. Super place to stay. We are going back there this year 2020 for our annual convention at the Cape Town Stadium. Thank you
My Cape Town home!
It was so amazing holiday staying with Craig and Fandesi. There are so helpful and everything is so above normal customer service!
Waiting for return...
Great location, great staff. Very affordable price. Would recommend this for staying in cape Town.
Love this B and B. It’s a home from home. Cozy, spotlessly clean, welcoming and friendly.
Nice guest house... friendly people.... on the slopes of Table Mountain.
Wonderful place
The BGH offers everything you need to really enjoy a stay in Cape Town: beautiful, stylishly renovated rooms, super-comfortable beds, the opportunity to use the always clean kitchen, the cozy lounge and the outdoor space in the garden and, last but not least, a good one central location. All in all, a feel-good place. We had a larger room (#1) with a very comfortable shower! – ideal for working from home (the WiFi connection was excellent) and a smaller room (No.1) – also very comfortable with a simple, small bathroom. We will definitely stay there again if we are in Cape Town again. Craig is an excellent and generous host - always approachable and very reliable. Kind regards and thank you for the great time!
The guesthouse is located in a residential area near Table Mountain. |The rooms and spaces are lovingly furnished down to the last detail. |Anne-Marie gave us tips on things to do in Cape Town and made a great breakfast. During the day you can have coffee and eat cookies or muffins at any time! We felt very comfortable and would come back at any time. |You can get anywhere quickly from there by car. The only minor criticism is that the pipes in the bathroom smell a bit stale and old.
Absolutely outstanding. From the personalized, delicious breakfast to the clean rooms and the service from the staff. At breakfast, you can already see the nearby Table Mountain through the glass roof. Located on a quiet side street, we felt completely safe.
I stayed at Belmont House for a week and the truth is that everything was perfect. I felt at home, the location is very quiet in a residential neighborhood, with the center a little far away (although I walked down), and a restaurant-supermarket just around the corner. Great location also to climb Table mountain or Lion's head. The treatment by the exquisite staff (thank you very much Lance for your kindness). The unbeatable breakfast, the care and cleanliness of the rooms, too.
A lovely place just outside the city but close to everything! The view of Table Mountain is stunning. The owner is extremely kind and always tries to help. Clean rooms and excellent breakfast... It feels like home. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for good service at a reasonable price.
Fantastic B&B! We stayed here for nine nights (late April - early May 2019) and had a wonderful time in Cape Town and the surrounding area. At the foot of Table Mountain, close to the vibrant city center, a delicious breakfast every day, and a very friendly hostess (Anne-Marie). An excellent base for exploring all sorts of places on the Cape Peninsula.
We loved it, small but clean room, very friendly people, they help us where we want to go. Andrew who speaks French was a plus. The lunches were really good, good fruit salad and crusty bread every morning, close to everything you have to negotiate taxis so as not to be in the way. A big thank you
Room clean, location is fantastic, nice quiet neighborhood and yet everything is easy to reach, even with the MyCity bus. Nice breakfast and very hospitable and helpful staff.
Good welcome, Quiet area with no problem for the car.||Good breakfast. Impeccable room although without a view.||It's a good plan for visiting Cape Town. I recommend this accommodation. ||Christian and Angèle.
Great accommodation at a very good price. Everything was very clean. The landlady was nice and helpful. She spent a lot of time with us and gave us some tips, etc.
Breakfast was also good, including freshly baked muffins every morning.
The coffee machine was available even outside of breakfast hours, and there were always some pastries available.
If I go to Cape Town again, I would probably book there again.
A little far from the center, the guesthouse is very close to Table Moutain and the Lion's Head. The welcome is perfect, clean rooms, calm, undeniable value for money, an excellent address!
An excellent stay, the welcome, the luxury room, the space, the setting, the delicious breakfast, everything is really well thought out.||We had a very pleasant time, it will remain a very great memory
A very warm welcome, choice decoration, a very decent breakfast. The only regret is the smallness of the room.
A quiet and beautiful place
