Reviews of The Quarters Hotel
Lovely Country styled Hotel in the heart of Durban. I absolutely love the access to all the dining spots on Florida Road.
Loved to be in this atmosphere! The vibe is posh and classy. It was extremely neat and clean. The food was divine and perfectly cooked. A total knockout for me😍... would definitely go back there to enjoy more dishes.😋
I love the convenience of this place. Beautiful decor, dining courtyard and bar. Friendly staff and excellent service. The patrons are fashion forward. Absolutely
gay friendly environment.
Met a friend for a hot drink at the lovely restaurant/coffee shop. She stayed and ate at the Quarters and said it was great comfort and value for money. She said the food was good and was big portions.
Very central, a stone throw from the Golden Mile, City Centre, Playhouse, City Hall and Moses Mabida Stadium. Excellent shuttle service. On the International King Shaka Airport shuttle route. Florida Road is the new social hub on the Berea/Morningside with Art Galeries, Restaurants, Fine dining to Franchise convenience dining, Sports Bars, Night Clubs, and Coffee Bars, Beauty Salons, Pick'nPay, KwikSpar, Spar, Spar Tops, Shoprite, Woolworths, Food Lovers Market, Pharmacies, Petrol stations, Banks, Churches, Book Stores, Interior Decorators, General Practioners and Dentists within walking distance.
Secure off street parking. Olde worlde charm. Staff efficient and courteous.
This was my second stay at this hotel. I found the hotel to be neat and attractive. It is well situated, away from the city centre, but with easy access to beach, Moses Mabida and ABSA Stadiums. Florida Road with its wide choice of restaurants.
Lovely place. Tastefully decorated, clean and sanitized. And the staff are friendly and inviting. Definitely worth another visit!😃
Excellent location, comfy rooms and delicious breakfast!
Staff are extremely helpful and friendly, would recommend staying here.
Very good food (the beef fillet was perfectly cooked and very very tender).
Quite elegant atmosphere.
Recommended for a romantic dinner.
Amazing boutique hotel in Florida Road. Kept clean and it is close to resturants. Amazing breakfast! Amazing customer service. It is a Home away from Home!

Room and bathroom are beautiful, the breakfast is delicious but it's so noisy.... a massive avenue with a lot of traffic is just in front...

The Quarters is a city hotel. The furnishings and size of the rooms are okay, but some are quite noisy (you might want to request a room in the courtyard). The hotel's location is quite a distance from the "real city center." Breakfast is "basic." Dinner wasn't available upon arrival at the hotel due to a party. They were sent to a nearby sister hotel. We waited over an hour for our meal, even though there was no choice of soup or appetizer. The food was not good. The next day, Sunday, only breakfast was available, as it was a day off. We couldn't even get a drink.
Only if you like the old-fashioned English and dilapidated colonial style. From a distance, it seems very good, but looking at the meadow, nothing is going well.||In a mess, half-broken chair, cupboard door that falls when you open it, hot water does not exist, no bottle of water water in the room, a bed that creaks all night, even without rolling around!!!||In short, a disaster. Especially since there is practically nothing to do in Durban. A city where insecurity is palpable even during the day, on the seaside. A stop to forget.||||It's a shame because despite everything the staff is impeccable, the restaurant was very good and the Mediterranean that I I tasted a local bouillabaisse which wasn't so bad!||||The parking lot is guarded.||||Too bad.
Classy hotel on Florida Road, professional staff and large rooms, equipped with all comforts, in colonial style.||Good breakfast, in an elegant glass pavilion of great charm.|| Good quality of the restaurant with the possibility, in the surrounding area, of being able to take advantage of the presence of further venues linked to the catering itself and evening entertainment.
The hotel is great, the rooms are spacious and the hotel is very well located, in a good area and close to many attractions. The service from the staff is excellent, the hotel has free internet, and a delicious breakfast!
