Attention to detail 👌. Comfortable and classy, friendly staff and accomodating. Room was big , comfortable king bed , coffee , tea provided plus bar fridge ,double showers , towels and toiletries, toilet has a sprinkler ( useful info for Muslim patrons ) , iron and ironing board are available from the front desk . Booked in for 1 night on Saturday 5 Dec 2021 . The room was small , bathroom decent size. The disappointment was the breakfast, it's a 7 course breakfast with every course being served as you complete. It's a detox breakfast with green tea , green juice , choice of 3 fruit ( very small portion ) , only 1 fruit can be chosen. Choice of cereal ( only 1 served ) , a muffin , eggs , 1 sausage , bread , tea or coffee. I was served oats , 4 small pieces of sponspek , tea , egg , sausage and toast. The manager and owner listened to my concerns but were very much pro detox and didn't really care that as a paying customer I wasn't happy with the course plus the fact that it's a long wait to complete breakfast and rush back to checkout at 10. We chose to have breakfast at 8 am , this detox 7 course unappetizing breakfast took an hour to be served . We finally left at 9:20 . I did mention that if I ever stay there again I would not take breakfast . These are new owners , the previous review was done 2 years ago . We stay at many hotels and always choose the breakfast option . Avondale boutique I hope you listen to your customers and deliver . You've lost a customer unfortunately.

What a awesome place. Neat with very friendly and competent staff. Only a pleasure to stay there. Close to everything. Truly a home away from home. The restaurant has a fantastic Shef and a awesome menu. Not to expensive truly worth every cent and nothing is to much of Effort for the staff and management. I recommend the avondale every time.

Better than expected. Beats value of other hotels in the area and the staff are amazing and very attentive. Room amenities are great. Unfortunately no liquor sold on premises

Very nice and calm place you feel your self in classic nature house 🥰 .. nice breakfast But I hope they could change or add options during week days , for long residents they could feel boring from the list
