Reviews of Peermont D'oreale Grande Hotel
Room size small, but I suppose it's okay for the purpose
Luxury and exceptional service. We were treated like royalty.
Beautiful hotel with great staff.
Great stay. Rooms are beautiful and spacious, beds very comfortable. You get what you pay for. Quick access to the casinos and a good stay over for nearby access for OR Tambo. Enough restaurants for any taste.
Despite the first room having issues, we had a good stay with an alternative provided. Service was prompt and very commendable by Jabu
Private, comfortable and safe. Excellent comprehensive breakfast. Strict COVID-19 regulations. The missing star are for the staff. They not bad, but can be better and more attentive for a five star hotel.
Great food at the Hotel.
Service is great and waiter was friendly.
His name was Oupa.
Enjoyed the cocktails and tapas, food very well priced for a 5 star hotel.
Nice for a tranquil afternoon lunch outside under the trees, very relaxing.
Loved it.
I had a great stay at this hotel. My room was large and well maintained. Staff were consistently friendly and helpful. Daily breakfast as part of the room and breakfast package was pretty decent.
Very regal looking hotel. Similar to something you'd find in Vegas. The architecture is very Italian, there are pictures of famous Italian landmarks throughout the hotel and rooms. The room itself was fairly small, and it had no mini-fridge. However the room was very clean, nice, and romantic. It had a wall with various electronic outlets eg. USB ports. The location of the hotel within the Emperor's palace was great. It had access to the casino, food court, pool and gardens.
It's a lovely place to stay and never a dull moment, and you will get the value for the money spent there.
Great hotel, lots to within walking distance from the hotel. Reign restaurant was also good value for money π°
Rooms are stunning! Wonderful location. Casino is amazing too!
Luxurious, stylish & well kept surroundings...good food...beautifully presented....not just your normal "four walls"....a bit of outside view too...exquisite gardens with an enormous, cascading fountain
This is ready to receive and welcoming to Queens and Kingsπ€΄.A high quality furniture and materials is used to create different π environment that attract customers and provide a lasting impression.
Excellent service and beautiful inside. Fast and easy access to the casino.
Definitely the best five star hotel in Gauteng. Part of a larger safe secure complex with lots to do, from movies, restaurants and a casino. Well worth a visit
Great Hotel, great location. Room was not ready until 4,30pm. Jaquizi did not work. Suite much smaller than expected
Staff are helpful and efficient. Lovely rooms. Excellent breakfast. Convenient access to OR Tambo airport.
Last stay was 5 yrs ago
Holding up well

Nice hotel but aircon was busted and there were people climbing on the balcony on the first floor looking into other room windows.
Room was beautiful, and if I have to pick a room I won't Take Room1123,, workers is in and out.. And talk loud, and shout the door, so is difficult to sleep..Breakfast was awesome '' '' π΅
Metcourt Suites is much better hotel, service level is very poor. Even reception speed work level is pathetic. Avoid booking
It's one of the best hotels I've been to in South Africa! Very beautiful ππ
In general very nice. They just forgot to arrange my breakfast box as per arrangement the previous night.
Beautiful hotel. Staff amazing. Rooms clean and super nice
It was lovely. My daughter enjoyed their room service..
We had a pleasant stay.. they met my expectations
5 Star. The best breakfast buffet ever. This is like a small Last Vegas in the middle of Johannesburg!
ABSOLUTELY GORGEOUS!
We arrived and had only the best service only the best suite.
It was truly amazing.
I expected more from a 5 star hotel. The service was not great and there was nothing that made it special.
Always a pleasure staying here very friendly people warm welcoming and a warm goodbye aswell I suggest staying here when visiting the palace
Awesome place..Rooms are absolutely comfortable..really had a blast..staff was totally awesome ππ
Excellent service, just had an issue with my room card, ultimately it is excessively fantastic

Treated like a queen
This hotel is located within an immense complex made up of various hotels. There is a shuttle that leaves every 30 minutes for the airport and it is very convenient. Let's say that it is a large, comfortable hotel for those who arrive and need to stop over or those who need to leave. Average breakfast. I've had better ones in South Africa. The staff is friendly.
Very nice and flashy hotel. 5 minutes by free shuttle from the airport and with direct access to the Casino. The rooms need to be renovated, they are old, but the bed is very comfortable. Excellent breakfast and friendly, smiling staff. We had a problem with the window which they promptly fixed. I would go back
Only 5 minutes by taxi from Johannesburg Airport, the Peermont is, in my opinion, a suitable starting point for traveling in the north of South Africa. We recovered from the night flight by the beautiful pool and with an entertaining evening in the casino. the integrated mall with shops and restaurants; all on the same premises and without safety concerns. The rooms are spacious and comfortable; the bathroom was rather small but sufficient.
It is the ideal accommodation for those arriving or about to leave Johannesburg, a 5-star structure but not exceptional all things considered. The structure with entrance controls includes a complex of 3 hotels (one with 3, one with 4, and this one with 5 stars) and a casino connected to them. Furthermore, always in an indoor gallery, there are numerous restaurants and fast food outlets to eat. In practice, you arrive at the facility and you can stay inside without ever going out and do everything you need. Designed specifically for tourists who have to sleep in Johannesburg without "risking" venturing around the not very safe city.
We used the Peermont after the long journey to arrive in SA. The hotel is ideal for that. Only 2 km from the airport and with a free shuttle bus - so you can get there in a relaxed manner. The team is very friendly and professional. Dinner was good. The breakfast, however, was absolutely impressive. The selection and variety was excellent. ||There are only two points to consider from our point of view - the building is starting to show its age and it's more like Las Vegas than SA. With 14 restaurants, gaming options in a huge hall next door, it's quite busy.
The positive is that the hotel is close to the airport. The staff is very friendly, but the WiFi is very poor. Also some of the lights in the room did not work and the room was extremely warm. All this led to us quickly getting another room at the front of the hotel. The WiFi was still poor and slow. Outdated these days. It took 15 minutes for tea to be served at breakfast. You can expect from a 5 star hotel that these kinds of things are well organised. Sorry, but the hotel is so terribly outdated that I would not advise anyone else to book here.
Pleasant experience. Everything I needed was available. Very good service, but quite formal. Negative points: there is no playground or heated pool available. Excellent breakfast, but I felt the lack of information about the foods, as there are many and, for foreigners, some are different. A little uncomfortable asking what each thing that interested me was. Conclusion: I only took what I really knew! Which was wonderful!
There are still restaurants and casinos on the hotel grounds. Everything is in Roman style. You have to know if you like it, I don't really like it. The options for walking around are limited. The rooms are big and good. Breakfast is also good.
