☺️☺️No complaints at all. Simple and comfortable, straight to the point BnB.
Quaint and cosy , only got to stay one night though. Will gladly stay there again , well priced for the a B&B. Friendly homely environment. Could not get the room I wanted ,ended up with a room with three beds. Didn't mind that though , house a bit old -hot water takes a time to get there . Had the figure out which was hot & cold tap and that the TV gets put on at the TV. Was not told what time breakfast would be .Other than that nice stay, no major issues .
The staff here was so friendly and accommodating! I loved this cute little air bnb cottage and it worked perfectly for our large group of 20 to all stay. Thank you staff of Life on 3rd! You are greatly appreciated.
It was a good place to stay. The staff also welcoming and helpfull. It's a place to recommend to others
Every thing is well organized friendly stuff members even if you you don't know the City there is a transport to get you around. Big boy you make things easier ,so if you want to enjoy your stay in Johannesburg come to Life on Third.
A wonderful place for anyone and everyone😅I loved the room, it was very pleasing to the eye. Clean and neat. I was disappointed with the air conditioner since the room was very cold.
Super friendly staff, comfortable rooms in a calm, quite, easily accessible area, very close to all amenities and the vibrant Melville.
It was neat and clean, staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good, was peaceful. Would recommend it to family and friends
Absolutely amazing, peaceful, relaxing. Amazing staff ,makes you feel right at home.
The weather was not pleasant so most activities were limited
Nice BnB. Needs to be renovated, but really nice staff. Breakfast is ok.

Outstanding service
Cool place
A warm memory of the last African night. A welcoming place, I would say familiar, Lidia will make you feel at ease and will do her best to make sure you don't miss anything. In the morning an excellent breakfast will await you which will force you to leave late :-)
Comfortable guesthouse, warm welcome from Bernard and his team which gives a feeling of being at home. The area is quiet but full of trendy little restaurants to go out for dinner.||The breakfasts were a delight for young and old alike with eggs and bacon in addition to cereals and toast. The room, very clean, was comfortable enough for the four of us.
After more than 30 hours of flight from Nouméa, we took a break in this magnificent place, very quiet and relaxing after a long flight. We have a warm welcome, even if after 6 p.m. you have to have a telephone to say that we are in front of the gate (security issue), no one answers the doorbell after this time. You will be able to park your car and you will have a beep to enter and exit as you wish. The rooms are clean, and the breakfast is plentiful in the morning. We went to get pizzas at the shopping center to eat quietly in the evening.
Discovered by chance on the internet, and a very pleasant surprise upon arrival! We were welcomed very warmly by Beaula and Lydia, very friendly, kind and available. The guesthouse is a beautiful house, in a quiet residential street in the middle of a nice neighborhood (Melville) with lots of restaurants and bars nearby. Our family room was large, cozy and very comfortable for the four of us, with two large double beds (queen size) and a single bed. Radiators, large quilts and electric blankets allow you to sleep very well despite the coolness of the southern winter. In the morning we are gently awakened by the smell of coffee and toasted toast, and we go down to have breakfast in the common room. An excellent breakfast, prepared according to everyone's tastes by Lydia and Beaula, always attentive.||We will keep great memories of our stay (3 nights) in Johannesburg and of this guesthouse. The children also really enjoyed the place. It is an excellent address, which we recommend to anyone who wants to spend some time in Jo'burg to discover this amazing city.
This small hotel is in a quiet area. You have to walk a bit to find bars and restaurants open quite late. There is a supermarket next door. You will have to take transport to get to the city center. The welcome is really nice, the breakfast is basic but ok. The rooms are clean, there are spaces to have a drink. I recommend this establishment (especially if you are in groups)
Life on 3rd is a great guest house to stay. It is certainly not a 5 star accommodation, but they have done everything they can to make it as beautiful as possible. It has a relaxed atmosphere, the staff is very friendly and helpful and it is super clean. The location is perfect. In Melville, but just outside the busy streets and close to the center of Johannesburg.||Breakfast is good!||The only downside is the parking. You can park 'off street', but the cars are behind each other. Not useful if you (or someone else) have to leave and cars have to be moved first... By the way, you can easily park your car in front of the guest house during the day.
