Great history to this place. Mandela only stayed here when visiting Grahamstown, Andre Brink wrote a couple novels here as well. Accommodation cozy and restaurant has extraordinary food.

Lovely intimate hotel setting that feels like home, dinner was amazing and the hosts where incredible looks deceiving on the outside but the interior and gardens are such a pleasant surprise
