I've been getting treatment from Kyle Soobramoney (Physio) at the Kings Park Sports Medicine Centre and i've been really impressed with the treatment received and his professionalism. Kyle has been a star and has been getting great results - I see the progress after each session - and he has also been great in giving me really effective exercises to do at home to help maintain the progress between sessions. I recommend him wholeheartedly.

In June of 2024 I had a complete knee replacement. I have to admit that I was not at all prepared for the long-term pain associated with this surgery. Enter stage left, Joel Stevens. His calm and super patient approach was exactly what I needed. I think that the spectre of needing another operation to straighten my knee really had me spiralling. Joel used just about every approach in the book, from coming to my home after I was discharged from hospital to a session in the swimming pool at La Lucia Virgin Active, to me visiting him at the Kings Park Sports Medicine Centre. The KPSMC is ideally located at Kings Park. No challenging stairs or lifts to navigate. After such an operation these facilities are very important. I have made slow but steady improvement and am continuing to do my exercises, attend gym and swim, five days a week. The recovery time to heal is one year and I am giving it horns! The KPSMC has a gym and many other facilities, and the staff are super encouraging and pleasant! Thank you to Joel and the staff of KPSMC for helping me heal.
