An Unforgettable Wedding Experience at Summer Place I had the pleasure of celebrating my wedding at Summer Place in October 2021, and I couldn’t be happier with how everything turned out. From start to finish, the experience was nothing short of perfect. Venue and Atmosphere: Summer Place is a gem located in the heart of the East Rand, conveniently close to O.R. Tambo International Airport. The garden setting is absolutely stunning and provided a picturesque backdrop for our wedding photos. The natural beauty of the venue, combined with its well-maintained grounds, made our special day even more memorable. Service and Coordination: The staff at Summer Place truly exceeded our expectations. They listened attentively to all of our requests and made sure every detail was taken care of. I was particularly impressed when they went above and beyond by purchasing little decoration butterflies that I couldn’t find on my own. Their dedication to making our vision a reality was greatly appreciated. Food and Dining: The food served at Summer Place was delicious. We received numerous compliments from our guests about the quality and taste of the dishes. The catering was handled flawlessly, contributing to the overall enjoyment of the event. Staff and Support: The entire team at Summer Place was friendly, professional, and incredibly helpful throughout the planning process and on the day of the wedding. Beautiful venue with great atmosphere and ambient taste you will not be disappointed the food is great too a must visit for any event birthdays weddings baptisms. The restaurant bar inside is also great for visiting with karaoke live bands pool tables slot machine.

Regrettably I didn't take photos of their Easter Sunday buffet. It was an impressive array of starters to mains of roast meats, veggies (including strews) and desserts for different tastes. There's something for everyone. Great atmosphere with live music and beautifully decorated (felt like we were at a wedding it was so pretty!). Didn't experience long buffet queues. Highly recommended and excellent value! Friendly and helpful staff.

We have had a number if functions at this place over the years. We recently had a memorial and was again overwhelmed with the understated professionalism of this business. The venue and facilities where perfect, the flower arrangement amazing and the food was excellent. The service was overwhelming. It is not often that you find service which comes from the staff's innate good character complimented with excellent training. Thank you. You made a sad occasion more bearable.

Stunning variety of food, from soup with a variety of fresh breads, to an extensive range of starters and salads, with a full hot carvery and vegetables, followed by delicious desserts and tea or coffee. Spoilt for choice! Well worth the buffet cost.

I decided to treat the family and was really amazed! On entry, you notice the beautiful gardens, so we all proceeded to explore before lunch. A truly beautiful setting. There are also a variety of rooms for hosting celebrations. We were led to a table by a very friendly waitress and were completely in awe of the buffet available. Way too many dishes to mention... And everything we tasted was delicious and made to high standard. We won't talk about the desserts.... If you are on a diet, don't bother to go there. Or just forget the diet! Yummy delicious.. Total overload. The price? I thought it a bit high for my 2 grandchildren who are tiny and eat like birds - kids pay half price but R235 per adult is great value! Definitely going back!

From the manicured gardens to the well appointed conference halls, this is the venue for any party, business or wedding function! There is ample parking, a chapel, kitchens and well stocked bars. The big bonus is that it is in town and no long drives into the countryside are necessary!!

I was disappointed, the staff and management/owners were great but the room was on the car park and very small. Felt more like I was in a movie motel scene. Breakfast was good considering they had a power outage.
