It was an awesome experience and I was able to find all the goodies I needed for my 17 months old baby boy

The place was packed with a very long que to the pay points but we got assistance within reasonable time. Big up to Menlyn store staff for the drive and zeal to service customers.

The store is big and spacious with a wide range of clothing, accessories etc. it was fun shopping there because my choices were endless and there many assistants on the floor to assist as well

Mr P Menlyn exceptional service. Bridget, sales lady, very professional and organized. On arrival she immediately produced the goods, 17 jackets, as prepared for collection. A great asset to Mr P. Thank you Bridget.

This Mrp has a larger selection because it is a larger store, but it also goes through stock like I go through coffee to wake up. So you have just as bad odds to find something specific if you are looking for it. But it has a novelty section which few mrp stores have. Expert advice: check online first to go through the options quicker BUT always go to the store, sometimes things look good quality online when they're not in the store. Also sizing is a mess. Would not recommend mrp jeans, rather go for jeggings - those will last you years (but mrp leggings won't). Also for backtoschool the boys section has bigger backpacks, but I have tried and tested - the smaller backpacks can still fit an A4 book. Also don't get the polyester bags, they break cause of the weirdest reasons. ALSO if you wait long enough with the 4 inch chunky heels they always reduce the price from like R250 to R50 eventually and no one buys them while they're R250 because they break easily but like for R50 is worth it

The queue for entering the shop is tiring as almost every shopper wanna grab something at Mr Price and when paying it's much faster when your using a card, you don't queue that long than when you pay with cash,, paying with a card is the way to go

Advice, use cash instead of card payment. I got double charged thank goodness it was a small purchase. Their payment point did not accept my first payment and I was told that it will reverse… Lord and behold it didn’t. I couldn’t get it reversed at the bank and can’t get a refund at my local MRP. Hopefully I will get my refund when I go back to Menlyn which is a hassle.
