A true architectural experience. With beautifully painted walls and Arabic calligraphy it's aw inspiring... and that's just the mosque. They offer guided tours and explain the history of the complex. There are restaurants with authentic Turkish cuisine, definitely recommended and a bakery with freshly baked bread daily. Even a Turkish barber to help keep you groomed. They also have a local clinic for the community. Overall experience. Highly recommend a trip. Everyone is welcome and the atmosphere is tranquil and peaceful.

It was an absolute amazing experience. I visited this mosque 6 times already! Because I have such an interest in Turkey. The 5th time I went there, I had Turkish çay and kahve, lahmacun, and I boughtmy very own Turkish çay glasses and tea. It is a place of extraordinary beauty and culture. Very very beautiful and highly recommended!!

South Africa's most popular, largest and most magnificent mosque. Its wonderful architecture is astounding A warm feeling surrounds you as you enter the garden gate. When you enter from the courtyard, you feel like you are stepping into a different world. Then your name attracts you like a magnet when you try to enter the mosque. When you step through the threshold of the big door, you will feel like you are walking in a dream world and you will think that you are on an otherworldly journey. The sound, smell, color and pattern inside will take you to completely different worlds.
