The company contradicts itself by confirming you have filled up the fuel tank on the digital gauge and then making you sign a waiver in case you (hypothetically?) did not? Seems like a scam to add on unnecessary administrative charges.

Great experience and highly recommended. I made a booking for a car on 30 Dec. for 31st and 1st. Despite the short notice and the busy period there were cars available. I found the customer experience to be excellent. They take all the time to explain you things, very patient, friendly and helpful. The car was great, simple process of pick up and return, overall fantastic.

Great experience with a really helpfull Staff. We had booked through a different company which canceled our booking the night before. The staff at bluu car rental took really great care of us (especially Jodi) who tried everything that we would still get a car and could start our vacation. Also the manager was really helpful. Here we felt that they care about their customers and have a great customer service. Thanks again for everything

The team at Blu Car hire were amazing, we left our house keys in the car and only realized at around 18:30 on returning home, the team helped us by having someone return to the shop (after hours) to help us retrieve our keys. Thank you! Great customer service!!

I read a lot of bad reviews on just about every car rental agency in South Africa so to be honest, I was super nervous when I booked with them and ultimately chose them because they had unlimited miles and I didn't want to be calculating extra costs while trying to enjoy our vacation. I made the right choice! We picked up our car in PE and dropped it off in Cape Town 4 days later. Both locations had friendly staff and weren't pushy trying to sell me anything additional. They explained everything thoroughly, even walked us out to our car and did their inspection right in front of us to make sure we agree. No extra charges, no worries! I'd go with them again if I go back.

Good experience so far except for being charged R3500 to replace stolen hubcaps on the VW Polo that I rented. The hubcaps weren’t even cable-tied. Bit of advice, if you get a car with hubcaps, pull them off and put them in the boot.

Staffs are friendly. But they could do with more customer rep at the counter. Twice I’ve being here and each time I’ve waited for more then 30mins before being served. You’ll expect 45mins to an hr before you can drive the car away
