Wow, amazing Doctor. I had spinal fusion with some challenges. Doctor very committed to provide best care and resulted in huge success. Will not seek another Spinal surgeon ever again. Well done

When I had to face the reality that the pain in my shoulders and knees will require replacement surgery by an orthopaedic surgeon the question in my mind was “Do we even have a good orthopaedic surgeon in Knysna”? Some of my friends had joints replaced, one had neck surgery, but I never bothered to ask for the name of their surgeon, now I had to. One after the other said, Dr Tim Reardon. He came highly recommended by people that I know, and that was enough for me. During my initial consultation ( after having CT’s etc ) we discussed the first step, being that the most painful shoulder would need to operated on and replaced first , and then 3 months later , my knee replacement. Both replacements were successful. Dr Reardon is an excellent and caring surgeon. Under his care my recovery from both surgeries was faster than I anticipated. He explained the procedures to me beforehand in a manner that I could understand. His excellent skill in making extremely neat sutures of the surgical incisions resulted in my wounds healing beautifully with minimal scarring. We are extremely fortunate that in a small town like ours we have an orthopaedic surgeon with such a high standard of professionalism, excellent skills, and patient care. On 26 July 2018 I had an total shoulder replacement done by Dr Tim Reardon in Knysna. Its now fourteen months later and I'm in full use of my shoulder and is able to use my arm in ways I forgot is possible. Thank you Dr Tim for a procedure well done. Your friendly and kind, but still professional interaction with us as a family made us comfortable and safe and ready for the procedure. The aftercare just confirmed that you know what you are doing as surgeon and doctor. Many thanks, it is much appreciated.
