It's Sunday morning and my ancient Yoco device is misbehaving. I reached out to Yoco chat, to ask for help. I do love the chat function [when it is a real human - not a bot]. The Agent worked professionally with me to troubleshoot the possible problems, we even established, while my old unit was thinking - SLOWLY - that the agent is indeed in South Africa. Which made me happy that we are employing locals to support locals. After about an hour of trouble shooting, we established that this unit is beyond support [its that old] and the agent very kindly offered me a replacement unit. Its at this point that we established I was talking to Charmaine - who was quite possibly the nicest Support Person for a Sunday morning. Yoco, I was proud to support you today. Locals, supporting locals, a real human techi, well informed and trained Tech Support and prepared to exchange my old unit for something newer. Thank you for your excellent service Charmaine. My Yoco card machine started giving me problems. Started a conversation with Charmaine on WhatsApp and after a few minutes a replacement machine was arranged without me asking for it.
