R. F.We took our cat to this vet as she had injured her foot. Her toe was standing up as if dislocated and she was limping and in pain. We thought it was a dislocated toe but it turns out that she had somehow torn her Achilles tendon and all the muscles. She went in for an operation and the Dr reattached the damaged tendons and muscles.
He was concerned about infection but sent the cat home with us the next day, all bandaged up in a cast.
This cast proved problematic for the cat to use the sandbox and move around. She looked so unhappy. The next week we took her for a bandage change and checkup and the Dr said her foot had developed a bad infection. Cat came home again with meds and a new cast. She endured lots of pain and discomfort and by her following checkup it was found that the infection had spread. She was immediately rushed to surgery for an emergency amputation of her hind leg.
She came home the next day without her hind leg but with no plaster cast or bandages. We were surprised to see that the 2nd day after the op, she was able to jump off the bed, use her sandbox and jump back on the bed. She is doing well so far.

Our kitten unfortunately had a traffic accident that resulted in having a leg amputated.
This establishment honestly went out of it's way to care for our kitten and allowed us to make regular family visits to see our baby.

M. F.I have always support Rynfield vet, Vanessa is amazing, friendly and very helpful. The only complaint I have is they are completely priced out in the area and their fees are much more than other good vets in benoni area. For this reason I have moved to another vet as I can no longer afford their prices. Some advise before you see the vet ask for the pricing because it can be a shock after the consultation especially if you on a budget.

J. V.Was treated very well and staff were vey efficient although I was quoted R2000 for the spaying of my dog, I was charged R2799 after the operation. Nobody knew who quoted me and nobody booked the operation for that day. I had booked the operation the previous day by telephone. Did the receptionist decide to leave her place of employment? I did not enjoy being made an idiot of just because I did not take the person's name who booked the operation and having to fork out the extra money!
