An absolute treasure to find people who are so understanding and experienced. It is a spacious and spotlessly clean environment with an efficient reception. What SO impressed me is that upon entering, there is a waiting room area for people with big doggies or dogs that are very excitable... then the main waiting room is huge, airy and spacious..... Then the main incredible thing is that there's also a waiting room off to the side, where it's quieter for cats..... this just blew me away. If I compare to my previous vet which crammed all and sundry into a small dark room with one ceiling fan....sometimes ill disciplined dogs etc.... and when animals are ill the last thing they need is noise.... North Rand Vet also has far better opening hours, I mean to open at 7.30 am week days is an absolute pleasure.

Drs Olivia and Hannah, such exceptional treatment and care of my blind diabetic Jack Russel. We would have lost her if it wasn’t for them. This is such an amazing veterinary practice

I've had a wide range of treatments done on both my cats and dogs, from treating an infected wound to dental procedures, even the standard sterilization and vaccination. Every time the entire staff is compassionate, caring and professional. I've always gotten only the best care for my furkids from them.

Words can not express how grateful we are Not only did the very capable medical staff save our boy from a very dangerous situation, but really made sure that we understood his special requirements in respect of his diet and treatment going forward. You just know your animals are in good hands around these people. They are compassionate, gentle and true animal lovers. That's who we need around our furrballs, not greedy opportunists like some of the other vets we have come across around the area. We have decided since to entrust the health of all of our pets to the North Rand Road Animal Hospital. You get value for money treatment. They are cheaper than surrounding vets but you still get more out than you would at most other similar establishments. If I really have to nit-pick, I'd mention that one of the front desk ladies could be a bit more attentive and listen to the needs and feedback of their clients before literally telling them to "speak to the hand". If not for the fantastic service received in the room next door, we might have walked out. Just understand that everyone who visits the hospital might be concerned about the well-being of their best friends. A smile and a little compassion could go a long way. The other front desk lady was extremely helpful and warm. Complete opposite. Still, five very well earned stars. Nobody's perfect, but you're as good as it gets. Keep up the good work.

Very friendly ppl that work there and Very caring and very nice just want to say thank u to the doctor and all the staff for helping my baby girl Trixie if your looking for a vet this is the place I'm not working full time and I could still manage to pay her bill so they are affordable that's a plus thank u very much for helping trxie and taking her teeth out she's so much more happier pain free so I'm happy to. god bless

Amazing staff, always greeted well. The one old lady there, does tend to "clutch out" when there there is more than 2 people standing in a que. but we have always taken our dogs and have been very happy with service over all.

Good service Clean environment Only problem is that they try to get as much money as possible for instance when I to my dog in for the cat flu they said it will be 7k but when we went to pick her up they said that it's 9k. They were charging us 1k a day just for the drip which my puppy did need (they said she can only leave when she started to eat but she couldn't eat with the drip in its was to uncomfortable for her) so just be careful when going there they overcharge ppl

The Domoney family wish to thank the vet at North Rand Animal hospital for superb service!! The vet was highly professional, empathetic and did not hesitate to be called out on a Saturday night at 7 o'clock, by an unfamiliar family. The vet arrived at the hospital within 15 minutes from taking my call. I would like to thank her for the manner in which she treated our 2 month old Husky, Skyler. I will definitely not use another vet again. Most of all, I can say with an open heart that their account is also fair, without that feeling you usually get after using an after hour services where you usually feel it is daylight robbery. Once again, thank you so much.

I would like to thank the vet who was on duty after hours on Friday night at North Rand Animal Clinic. Unfortunately, I can't remember her name (she has a British accent) as I was clearly in a state 😢😢😢. We had to put our beautiful youngest cat to sleep yesterday. It was heartbreaking! She had clinical feline leukemia. Bad anemia. Dr Olivia Former helped us through the full process from diagnosis to saying goodbye. Her warmth and professionalism was exceprional! 1st time I took my Fur child to visit this awesome Vet. What a lovely experience everone was so friendly and helpful, my doggy is very cheeky and doesn't take well to people.
