I normally buy fruits and veggies there, guess what? They are always fresh and affordable. The staff is very friendly and willing to help. You don't have to wait forever in order to be assisted. They also provide soft instrumental music...I love Spar Empire❤❤❤

The owner adda value to Welkom with hia care for the people and thw community. Thia whole complex has given the industrial area of Welkom a new look. Thw quality of the SPAR here is the best in town.

Easy to find what I was looking for, from parking area to inside the store everything is neatly packed,,that makes it easy. Friendly staff, you can see that they have been trained to help us. Merchandise that's on special is always available in the store. Housekeeping up to standard. Minimize customer's waiting time by calling customers to be helped at available counter. Even management are friendly, and always moving around to make sure that their customers get the best service. Staff helping with trolleys also go extra mile to assist customers.

The have the biggest Spar with freshly cooked meals situated next to the busiest rank. Just on the road that takes you to Bloemfontein via Virginia. The Square was well planned & convenient for travelers like me.

Love the atmosphere, love how clean it is and how kid-friendly this establishment is, thus getting a 5-Star from me. In all honesty Empire Square has rude employees and a very slow customer service. Zero starts in that department.

Good supermarket, just needs management to ensure that the chicken keeps well prepared, they don't listen to the orders, and it's at times bloody on several occasions, fruits and vegetables must be kept fresh including baked stuff, must be checked. But the place is good and convenient for all your needs as far as house hold is concerned
