My wife and I enjoyed a rejuvenating couples Swedish massage at Yemaya Urban Spa & Hair today. The receptionist was friendly and welcoming, and both Tryness and Junior provided excellent massages that left us feeling deeply relaxed and stress-free. I was invited to try the Kloof Street branch following my review of the branch at Protea North Warf, and I can't believe it's the same spa group. I received a warm reception on entering and was told that they're not open yet, but I can have a seat so long. After 5 minutes I was introduced to my therapist, Joy, before being escorted into a dimly lit room with candles and music. Within the first 2 minutes of being on the massage bed my body was already cracking from the release of tension. My problem areas were thoroughly worked on, better than most spas I have visited, leaving me walking out feeling completely "unknotted". Joy, you have magical hands with great balancing of pressure across the different areas of my body. Ask for Joy, you'll not regret it. She gets my 5 star!!

The place is beautiful, the staff is friendly. The minus one would be the carpet on the floor that has grease stains and the towels are not thoroughly clean, you can smell the oils that were probably used on previous clients.

Best massage I've ever had. We went for the wikideals couples spa experience and it is an incredible experience for the price. So professional and kind. The facilities are also really great. Relaxing music and great aromas. Highly recommend. We will be back

I've been to this spa a couple of times and we have always had great experiences. The staff is kind and helpful, they are always looking to please and the service is friendly. the please is very clean and "boujie" enough to make you feel like royalty. The massages were exactly what we needed to blow off some steam and get that spring back in our step. They have lovely deals running on various platforms, so its an affordable treat that any mom/wife deserves. This place has become a hidden gem waiting to be discovered and i'm just happy to spread the love.

I had the best experience today at Yemaya. Had an indulgence facial with Andisiwe, who gave me the most incredible massages during the treatment. She explained every step of the process and was overall such a lovely person to be around. Thank you Andisiwe! Overall the space is beautiful and relaxing. The staff are helpful and welcoming. Ellouise is an extremely professional and vibrant hairstylist. I had a haircut and my beard done and I was even offered an express facial to give me the spa experience. Over all brilliant work and staff is extremely friendly. Very happy with the service received at Yemaya👌

Definitely the best Yemaya branch i've been to. Staff are super friendly, helpful and know their work. They have a variety of treatments available, which makes it a one stop shop for all your beauty needs. I always enjoy my waxes with Wardah who is patient and ensures I am comfortable even before treatments begin. Highly recommend!

A superb experience at Yemaya (means sea goddess in Swahili - thank you for the edu, Bongi! 😉) Both Bongi and Yen offered guidance and tips on how to maintain healthy hands and feet throughout my treatments, without making me feel like an ignoramous. A trendy upmarket urban spa situated in a luxurious hotel close to Table Mountain. Prices are very reasonable as compared to other spas. This is a one -stop.Spa and includes facilities such as steam room, sauna, heated indoor- pool, Rasul/ Turkish bath , hair salon, barber,manicure, pedicure stations, hair- salon, etc. I had an amazing massage from Andisiwe.I will definitely be back soon.
