So many different things. Helpful and friendly personnel. And owners you can talk to. The prices are good. The shopping lanes are marked, so it's easy to find what you are looking for.

China plaza is great. They have everything you can imagine, kitchen ware, furniture,garden supplies, toys, fish tanks, make up.. almost any item that you can imagine. The staff are okay, the cashier's are definitely on the friendly side. You're not always able to get help because the staff will just inform you that " they don't know" where something is, even if it's right there. The shop is nice over all. The toilet facilities are not great but they're better than most petrol stations. Parking is sometimes a mission though so be prepared for that if you go over the weekend or at month end. I will and do keep going back there because everything is a bargain.

Prices are not too bad But not too good either... Some of their prices are gone up tremendously. Some merchandise are even priced higher than our supermarkets. But it's worth it if needing to get unusual gifts ND stuff. Won't really recommend their groceries though .. it's cheaper at our local supermarkets

Big and busy and hot, no air-conditioning. It's untidy and aisles arr not clearly marked. Very reasonably priced. Parking is cumbersome, only one way traffic in and out. Plenty of items to choose from. Fromm tools, car accessories to home decor.

Lots of everything you would expect at reasonable prices. Be warned that there is no effective air-conditioning and the place is unbearable on hot days - dangerously so. Best plan to go towards the evening and on cooler days.

Huge world of amazing deals, anything you can & can't ever think of, will be available in 10 or more options.. Always a fun trip to go spend a few bucks in random items.. The lighting section is the best 🤯

Omg. I looooove this place. It's a big warehouse full of everything you can think of. Electronics, furniture, party costumes decor, kids toys, sports equipment, catering equipment, tools -- everything you can think of and more. Their prices are also really good. I'm always pleasantly surprised at the till when they announce my total. Highly recommend!

A very large collection of various products, from tooth picks to TVs, household goods, toys, and everything in between. You have to hunt around quite a bit, as isles are not labeled to any useful degree, and staff, although freindly, are not always sure about the products on display. Parking car be a bit difficult, but it's free and you never wait around too long to park (during weekends and peak hours). Recommended if you like a treasure hunt, and have a few Rands to spare.

Fantastic range of affordable Chinese goodies, ranging from tools and toys to decor, garden- and home-ware. One really can find anything here. The large warehouse setting does mean that dirt and dust abound (give your goods a wash when you get home), and the toilet facilities are shocking. But if you go with an empty bladder and a set of wet wipes on hand, you and your trolley will have a ball.

I was looking for China city in Durban following the fire that broke out at Springfield (umgeni). I got lost and landed at China Plaza. I got what I was looking for. There is enough parking for customers. They stock a variety of goods or items.

Its a lovely place to shop especially if you are looking for curtains & mostly homeware. There is great access to the plaza as parking is convenient. Also has everything that you need to shop for. It is a big warehouse in 1...homeware, curtains, makeup, bags, stationery, nails. (In the picture below I bought a big container of acrylic powder & it seems good enough) electronics gadgets but I wouldn’t trust in buying them as there is only a 7 day guarantee on those items, sweets, furniture, gym equipment & soo much more.

No aircons and the store is a bit messy. I hate their security measures. Makes you feel like you are untrustworthy. Their prices are really good and you will definitely pickup good deals.

Big range of goods under one roof and one store. You dont need to go from shop to shop to find what you want. I found so many interesting things that my 10 minute visit became an hour long spree. They have the cutest things. Good for bakers, diy, audio, homewear, tvs. Secure parking is provided and prices are good. Closed sunday.

Prices have gradually increased as they have now opened their 2nd store in Springfield. Please be careful at the items purchased and the teller scanning your goods, you will notice on their system the cost price vs the marked price , its an outstanding difference.

This place is not for every one. If you are searching for bargains and willing to compromise on quality then its okay for you. Ventilation is not that good. You can pick up a few good items. Its just a matter of preference I suppose.

Prices have gone up drastically. Especially on lighting and electronic goods. Funnily enough they used to be known for their cheaply priced electronics and now you can get things cheaper at Game or Makro

It takes way too long to find what you looking for, some items don't have prices on them and nobody seems to know how much it cost. Staff like to stand around talking, difficult to get someone to assist

Its okay, but being a chinese shop I dont know what Im getting. I looked at many things but for examlple cant trust the drill bits. Quite a few busted items also in the specials bins, so that seems suspect. Its very cheap though. .. Lots of power tools and workshop tools were made by FINDER ... ive never heard of them. 🙄

I lost R 400. 00! I walked dismally around the shop not knowing what to do! It was not my money as I was shopping for the school. One of their shop assistants asked me what I was looking for and I explained what had happened. He put his hand into his pocket and handed it too me. He said. Here it is Granny... I am a Christian.. I can't keep your money. 10/10! We need more people like this in the world!

the underground parking is small. can't hold a lot of cars. this is not to be confused with a China mall. it is one shop with everything inside. Prices are nothing to go crazy about compared to other stores.

Cheap stuff from China, what more can you say. It's well organised, neat and clean. Parking can be challenging when it's busy but the store itself is clean and neat.
