Reviews of Maponya Mall
Very nice place, it was my first time but I really enjoyed
Maponya Mall is the best even is loadshedding Maponya Mall they have backup like generators business run as normal that is why i like Maponya Mall.
Anything you need food, cloths, medication, eye testing, phones, gadgets, furniture and other necessities you name it you'll find it and get this..there's also Apple Store📱 I've always loved Maponya as my go to Mall♥️ and you'll do too 🔥
It's a chilled and convenient place for almost all that you may need and want
Visited Afri_Cafe in Maponya mall. Its a nice place to chill. Sells the very best of African cuisine and the best cocktails
The shopping at Woolworths and Dischem Maponya Mall is a always a breath of fresh air.
The place is convenient, it's a one-stop shop
Great place to have fun and do your shopping
A city mall has been brought in the township. A very beautiful mall indeed.
Maponya mall is the best mall in Soweto place to go to buy clothes watch movies friends on or family
I enjoy passing out my experiences to share with others so that they have a better view of where they are going and what they'll experience.
Big mall with loads of shops, loved the restaurants
Great place with many shops
Great shopping centre clean.
I get everything I want from here. At least the mall still keeps it's clean standard unlike Jabulani mall
Good local shopping just a bit of security need to improve.
Great place to take your family with, you get to buy anything that you might need here, from mobile devices, fast food, clothing and accessories
Spacious. Clean. Beautiful place. Loved it.
One never struggles to find parking even when it's one of those busy days so it deserves a big fat thumbs 👍🏿 up for that. There's no struggle of getting in or out of the mall like some of the other malls. Always neat and tidy. The car guards 💂♂️ also deserve credit for their work.
Got there almost end of the day but the hour and half I spent there was great. It's a lovely place I can recommend any1 to be and experience it.. variety shopping places food and clothes...
Lastly a huge range of takeaway foods.
I love this place... Specials are unlimited
Its huge, cultural diverse, friendliness and humility of persons was no 1. Recreational in its design tops the chats. Its proximity to the locals.
I'm just happy now that we can Bolt freely
Maponya mall is everything.there is nothing that you want...thet you can get at maponya mall..its a shoping mall
It's a very beautiful mall which isn't only known by shops. But also included home affairs, labour, human rights lawyers offices.
I accompanied my daughter to apply for the identity document. The service is very good even though load shedding have some disruptions
Convenient mall, decent selection of shops. E-Hailing services are a problem getting in and out
The problem is that it's difficult to request Uber or bolt as there are fights between the taxis and bolt driver, so it's good for someone using their own private transport especially if u have lot of luggages
Had a great time at the Tavern then went to News café
The heart of Soweto the pride of Soweto . Visit you will love it everything in it is a lovely . First place of black own
One of the biggest malls in South Africa. Large variety of shops and places to eat. The prices range from affordable to expensive depending on which shop you are buying at so there is something for everyone
Can get most the things I need there
A good mall to do all your shopping. Good service and security.
New licensing department was a breeze, quick service, I hope they keep it like that
Always a busy place to be at, when you need time out nd see ppl go, plus it has almost every brand in in-clothing , different restaurants etc
They got a cinema and a Burger King. The BK still doesn't give out more jalapeños on their loaded fries but anyway... the mall is great. Always neat and very sanitary.
One of few nice malls in Soweto. It is spacious and has a lot of great stores. They even have a assistant on Messenger, in case you need any form of help. Rest rooms are easy to access, disabled parking and entrances are available. Secure parking is available for free.
Clean and attractive to visit. Quick service at food court. Toilets are well lit and clean, except for a couple of taps not working, overall most stores under one roof
Little jewel in Soweto. Numerous ships and adequate parking. Overall clean atmosphere but can be extremely crowded. Shops are neat and tidy. Security is ok with no extra measures, keep your valuables safe.
Nice to do a quick duck into the mall after church. Food Court is always full but the staff is helpful enough to keep the queues moving.
The toilets are always smelly and look untidy, most of them are not even working. The pick n pay is big(hyper) and always has people's needs at heart. The service at most shops is amazing. The guards at the mall are friendly and covid-19 regulations are adhered to.
Still the best mall to happen to Soweto.♥️ also there's a new cozy spot located right at the old newscase spot. Great joint. Friendly stuff. Good music. Has a down and upstairs experience.
Smoking area situated right at the balcony where you get to experience the beautiful views of Soweto while damaging your lungs lol.
Taxi drivers make problems for uber drivers
Wonderful atmosphere with a variety of stores and the food court is just something indescribable. Enjoyed shopping at Maponya Mall
It's a very gud mall, clean, beautiful n spacious, child safe n vehicle safe, it has most big retails except for Game,Shoprite, Spar, Food Lovers... however has all bank branches n a cinema, not forgetting all famous restaurants and it closes late. It's an iconic mall tht lives up to the good reputation. It's all about good life, grt food, grt shopping n good living.
Normally go to Maponya to eat and just unwind. Very clean and safe. Who am i kidding and shopping😂, i love the fact that you get most clothing stores especially for amaladies.
The Mall is fast losing its former glory as some of the original shops are closing. Security at the mall is at an all time low as people get robbed in the ablution facilities.
If they can add few machine rides to keep the kids entertained while we do shopping, that would be a top tier for me 👌🏽
Not bad for a township mall, also it's better kept more than other township Malls built after it, now that's black excellence right there
Beautiful mall with a lot of shops almost everything you need us available there
Busy but very convenient everything is in one place
I like this mall. It has some decent shops and the cinema is dope. I wish that the food court could be less populated with insurance and gym salesmen as they make the dining experience somewhat unpleasant.
Great service in Woolies great time visiting the mall
It's lengthy and nice but it doesn't really have too many attractions besides their gym and upstairs cinema, however they've added a mini-theme park outside which I'm sure the kids will enjoy.
Good variety of shops
A great place and shopping place
It's clean and very vibe, love the service you get at Spurs and it's good mall to visit once in while
I was at the Maponya Hub, it's a great place for SMMES to learn and grow. They provide different skills
This is a mall in the heart of Soweto great experience...it is buzzing with people. Under this strict regulation of Covid-19/lockdown it's not the best time to go. But as soon as the Covid-19 gets out of the picture you are more than welcome to experience this busy buzzing mall it's not far from Vilakazi street just few minutes away.
They have a virtual office. A business hub where you can meet with a client a pay for space by the hour. Convenient. Don't have to own an office and pay monthly rent even if business is slow.
Maponya Mall is a beautiful place, with all your big brands of retail and textile brought closer to our township consumers. As usual, it is crowded, black money going to the hands of the wealthy who do very little to promote small black business. On the positive side, home affairs and SASSA services are also available and accessible.
Many shops are available
Local is tasty

I'm about to register at the gym there
