Reviews of Cedar Square
Lovely little centre with the right mix of shops. I enjoy coming here.
Nice shopping centre with great family friendly restaurant and ski tube slope for kids. Some shops are empty and the basement parking elevator stairs are not working which can be tricky to climb for kids with short legs. Rather park on the du roof parking to avoid those stairs to the basement parking. We were there for under 3 hours and it cost us 15 Rand... The parking is very expensive.
The Cedar Square Slow Market happens every Saturday between 9am and 3pm. local vendors sell their arts, craft and deli goods in a wonderful venue.
So bring the family down and support small business before having lunch at one of the awesome restaurants or cafes in the centre.
We enjoy shopping here it's clean and lots of free parking. Very spacious feeling even when they are busy. They have a variety of shops for example Pick n Pay, Woolworths, Clicks and various smaller boutique shops and restaurants. Smoke Daddy's restaurant is worth a visit they cater to everyone and have delicious food. They have a really nice play park for children. There is also a very nice dried fruit and nut shop run by a very friendly and helpful couple. They also have imported candy. If you haven't been to Cedar Square it's worth a visit.
Absolutely love Cedar Square, it has always had a exclusive sophistication about it. The Ster Kinekor there is absolutely amazing with its lovebirds seats - I really hope it does not shut down.
Cedar square is always nice and clean, they have so many great restaurants to choose from..
It is not such a big complex but there are some essential shops and the parking is sufficient.
Parking costs a lot and not enough cheaper eating spots
Loved it It was perfect for children we had a great day
The airy and expansive architecture is perfect for people who are a tad claustrophobic
Good food , great experience.
There are really great restaurants inside, but it does feel a little bit empty (for lack of a better word) in some parts. I've been here a few times and have had an enjoyable visit. I would recommend Cedar Square for a good night out with friends or a lazy afternoon out with family.
The Indoor Kart racing is the greatest adrenalin-rushing fun you can think of doing, hands down!
Always awesome to visit. Our server Sam knows how to make the experience seamless and thoroughly enjoyable.
We went to The Kid's Gym. Great fun for the little ones
It was fun!!
Loved the little market they had on the Saturday where we could buy some homemade products before we spent an great hour at the Ski Slope. It is fun for the whole family and I can recommend it to all.
I've always enjoyed going here. Really can't complain. Easy parking, great places to visit, nice restaurants. Always clean.
The complex has a great selection of shops. A wonderful spot to pickup a slice of gourmet cake and coffee or spend the Sunday afternoon with family. It is especially wonderful if you have young kids. Love it!
Convenient, not too packed or loud and has enough aesthetically pleasing restaurants to keep one entertained
Good good place and supermarket, party shop, ATM's, builders etc
Restaurants are good, place is never too busy. Book a table and have a good evening!
Cedar Square has to be one of the leading entertainment huds in fourways
Nice Open space to go with your friends
What a unique looking mall! There was no aircon in any of the shops. Which proved to be very uncomfortable in the 35 degree weather!
The bad economy is definitely taking its toll on a lot of the smaller shopping centers - especially now with all the upgrades at Fourways Mall being completed. It is however a quiet atmosphere and not too overcrowded and the restaurants are descent and I'm sure keeping the place going. If you want a relaxed atmosphere and just want to chill, then I would definitely recommend it.
It's an average mall with the necessity shops as well as boutique suit and dress shops. It seems cluttered in it's layout. It does offer night markets with live music on some days which can be interesting. There is plenty of parking, with both covered and uncovered spots available. It has a friendly and local atmosphere.
I think someone that goes there at night would have a far more favorable review of the place. The restaurant selection is good but I only go there for the very nice Woolworths and maybe the clicks. Its pretty dead on a general shopping day.
Nice little center. Has what you need and is well maintained. Never battled for parking. A few good places to grab a bite to eat as well as a artificial snow slope for the kiddies to play on.
Good variety of shops and some top notch restaurants (looking at you Kong..) and the cinema experience is one of the best around. Beyond that access to the centre is great, parking areas are well designed and bays are spacious. Not bad for a mall!
Nice open-roof shopping center.
There is still some construction taking place, mostly upgrades, just bare in mind some areas might be marked off.
Some niceties:
A new restaurant with a big play area for the children
Free open cover parking
Most of the necessary shops for quick shopping
They sometimes have markets, either in the parking or in the lower level of the shopping area (in front of Clicks).
I went there to deposit money for my dad but I was very impressed with the structure of the mall and it was spacious inside, most people who work there are very friendly and there's a lot of shops so I am pretty sure you can get what you looking for in the mall, the parking is efficient and safe,I knew that my car was safe in the parking lot. Be sure to check it out guys😉
Excellent center. Mix of unique and mainstream retail stores and not over busy. Nice variety of restaurants but not many halaal options...strange
Has a clicks; woolies; pick n pay; few clothes shops and many restaurants - so it's covering all aspects. Parking and also virgin active is there too.
I was there briefly. Im not keen on all the coffee shops being on the pavement looking at the car park. Its too open plan for me on the inside, so when its cold and windy, its unpleasant. It doesnt lend itself to browzing. It doesnt have an inviting vibe about it, but thats just my opinion
Everything you need for grocery shopping. Some nice restaurants too, and a well stocked kids toy shop. Much better than a full indoor mall. Everything's easy to access and parking is never an issue.
Clean and a place where you can take the kids. There's also a market on the weekend when I went
Unique stores, pretty much covers all basic needs and then some. Car guards are generally polite and accommodating, Covid wise. A few of the stores are really quite special and the complex is one of the cleaner ones around.
A fantastic small shopping centre in the upscale Craigavon area of Fourways.
It has adequate parking space, two supermarkets, a dispensing chemist and two gyms, one of which (Smyth's hosts boxing champions).
It has a wide variety of restaurants ranging from coffee shops, sushi places to a cigar lounge and everything in between.
Nice specials, good food and always clean but it's full of kids on weekends so if you are alone or with other adults then maybe it's best to during the week.
Beautiful place with so many nice restuarants and shops to choose from.
Nice place to shop. It's not overwhelming or to big to get to do all that's needed. It also has more than enough space for feeling comfortable and claustrophobic whilst going about your business
I passed through looking at the shops and services available as I had an appointment in the area
There are plenty of good restaurants from which one can choose a variety of specialised menus, Excellent for going for a meet and greet or family meal
Nice centre, lots of parking, places to eat and things to do
Well maintained. Convinient, although Pick n Pay needs to be checked out.. it always smells like something died in there .. I was told that the owner also owns the Pick n Pay at Fourways Crossing, they're both horrible.
Yamakado never ceases to amaze!
Absolutely delicious 10/10 and a special thanks to our waiter France!
Nice little mall. Lots of activities for children. And lots of eating places.
Only took us ages to find the cake shop
The centre needs some refurbishment and shops including restaurants constantly close and new ones open.
Has most anchor retail outlets and a car wash while you shop. But if you don't have kids you will find that this Centre is attracting parents with kids so it's noisy and quite pricey too
Not as big as Fourways Mall but quieter so it's great for quick shopping. The cinema seats are also larger than other similar Ster Kinekor cinema's in the area. I prefer parking underground but there is ample open parking also.
We call this place 'Date Mall', movies and restaurants are easily accessible. Shopping is limited. Parking is easy to come by, both free (uncovered) and paid underground parking is available.
Love the resturants here! Never had a bad experience, great shops too. Everything you need at one location
Amazing restaurants and a smart set up of all the stores. Really enjoy visiting Cedar Square
I don't do much shopping at Cedar but when I have it has never been over crowded & has always been a pleasant experience.
If they had an information board in the center it would be a plus.
The place is evolving so it is still a bit untidy and unsettled but it is good to see the energy and growth return to what was becoming a slightly sad place. Wired Dion delivered limited range but good advice on laptops.
Lots to choose from, furniture shops right the way to a gym including some very interesting restaurants and coffee shops. Nice place for a morning coffe and breakfast and even a late afternoon lunch
I love this shopping centre. The restaurants are great and they've recently had an exciting renovation which I'm looking forward to enjoying. Woolies is great there.
Great place to wine and dine! Visit the banting market last Saturday of every month and bring your little ones to play. Lots of fun for everyone.
Great little mall I love all the restaurants there, They are all so cozy and it's easy to find what you looking for very clean too
Cedar square has amazing places to eat, good stores such as woolies and clicks. The 'snow boarding' place is lovely for parties and just fun in the day.
Amazing atmosphere and great place to hang out
A large mall with many eating places, some shops and a gym, and a fun "ski slope". With the mall set out so vastly, it's best you determine first which end you want to go to.
Really cool place. Clean, open, a nice nice variety of stores and a sterkinekor.
There is alot of parking. The security is good too. Very safe place.
Amazing places for dining{suitable for families too, including children}, sun-downers and nights out. Safe parking, with reliable car guards.
Cedar Square is not extremely busy, so it's always a pleasure to go shop at any of the shops, since you never feel like you are going to be trampled.
With the option of undercover paid parking and open free parking, there is also options on what you want to do - and how close you want to park to where-ever you are going inside the mall.
Has a great Virgin Active gym with a beautiful sunset view from studio 1. Lovely selection of restaurants. Very family-friendly with Saturday market traders, artificial ski slope and Ster Kinekor cinemas. For daily needs there is a Pick n Pay, Clicks, dry cleaning, Woolies. Also a Dion Wired for electronucs and appliances, and Builders Warehouse for DIY.
Good shopping and a nice Pick n Pay and Woolworths. Every second last Thursday of the month there is a nice evening market with craft beer, live music and lots of good food
My local?
Cedar Square has a Woolies food, Picknpay and Clicks. Also various restaurants to choose from. I often visit Sorbet nails, and had positive experiences at Sorbet Dry Bar. I also visit the small Queenspark when I go to Cedar. Easy free parking.
Enjoyed the restaurant we were visiting. Parking was easy and the Square was pleasant to visit.
I really enjoy this shopping centre, it has a variety of restaurants, and you don't have to pay for parking.
It's a cool place to go to for classy bars, drinks, classy restaurants and it also has a fun place for kids
A new and neat shopping square with Woolworth, PnP, Clicks, Baby City (baby products), a gym VA, a movie theater, and a cafe.
Very well stocked
Tried sea fruit pasta. Too good.
Love each and every shop.
It has the best you serve
