Great place to get just about anything needed for building. They keep stock of much of the old, better ironmongery, rather than the cheap and nasty imports.

Ive been buying timber and hardware here for years, they're probably rhe last true lumber yard in Cape Town and one who's staff actually know they're selling and give sound advice and help. The hardware store isnt to be forgotten, their range and prices are some of the best and the staff there too are knowledgeable, friendly and professional. Perhaps the one of the big things, the staff stay for a long time, so seeing the same person who served you previously and having a chat while buying stuff, always a good thing. I only buy lumber and hardware there if I can help it

Real old school trading store where you have to ask prices as nothing is marked and can negotiate discount. Folks know their timber & hardware. Last place in Cape Town where you can secure oddball timber mouldings and beading.
