One of the best menus here in cape town diverse and most of the dishes delicious Rock shrimp is the best sushi here Must try their wagyu ribeye Burger is good Avoid Prawn Tacos Gyoza great Korean chicken deli Tomahawk was well done and i ordered medium well However you must expect to pay huge tip and i recommend for you to refuse to pay what the put in the slip

Without a doubt, the biggest highlight for my Capetown Festivities was dining at Tang, Beyoncé at the team were just amazing! Tried something new called Izekaya dining, love loved it

We recently visited Tang for the second time, and it was just as impressive as our first experience. The food remains phenomenal, with each dish expertly prepared and bursting with flavor. The service was top-notch, attentive without being intrusive. Their cocktails are exceptional, perfectly crafted to complement the meal. Overall, Tang continues to deliver an outstanding dining experience, and we will definitely be returning. Highly recommended!

My husband and I have been in South Africa for two weeks and this dining experience was by far the most amazing! The atmosphere is lively and fun! Frankie the Manager put together the best team! The the food was terrific but what was remarkable was the energy and engagement of all staff! A must stop!!

After visiting Tang while in Cape Town we weren’t sure what to expect but, disappointed? Definitely not!!! I’d give 10 ⭐️s if possible , staff absolutely amazing , they were all so friendly and boy do they keep busy food was superb and atmosphere very good, not sure how they do it but they’ve certainly got a great staff team and the UK could learn a lot from them about hospitality!! Keep up the excellent work guys 👍😃😃

Food is amazing, Really really good. Service was also great. I find tables to be really close together, of course they trying to fit more ppl but it makes the place feels cramped. I never review toilets but wow this one deserve a review. It is finished with this big beautiful mirror on the wall. Be careful don’t walk into it. It is really beautiful, clean and smell soo good.

The environment was good I just didn’t like how we were received by one of the managers at the door who chose to serve people (whites) that came after us and didn’t come back for us. Food was okay but pricey. Aesthetics were reasonably pleasing.

I went with my wife for date night at Tang, we’d amazing moment there, the place is organised, the attendant was polite and helpful when needed, the food is amazing (we’d 3 meal course) and prepared in time even when it’s full! For us is 5/5 experience…well deserved.

Although we had booked, there was some delay in finding my online booking so we kept in limbo at the entrance for a few minutes. The reception was professional but not exactly warm and inviting though we were there for my sons birthday we made the most of it. He did rave about the Wagyu burger, and my Black Angus noodle dish was filling and tasty. The bathroom service is amazing and my sons birthday dessert was fantastic! Overall, a good experience, but found the service a bit lackluster and sporadic with slow table follow-up on meal progress.

We had the oysters, which was absolutely divine. The imperial platter was over enough for 3 people to share. Service was great, our food arrived very fast, considering it’s Boxing Day. I think this restaurant will do really well. We will definitely be back.

A phenomenal meal.Very reasonably priced compared to the UK.This restaurant was recommended by Aiden Concierge at the Cape Grace Hotel. Pleasantly surprised that such a large restaurant could provide such delicious food for such a turn over. I have no doubt that we will be discussing the quality of the food for a long time. Would highly recommend the tuna tatami Cocunut seabass, wagu tacos and tge sesame oyster Angus. Excellent service from Mandla Phir. Thank You

The place is beautifully designed, unfortunately, it feels crowded we went on a busy night it was not the most relaxing atmosphere it was loud and crowded tables are stacked they could do with some room. Our server Mandla was horrible, to say the least. The menu is good, it's one of those places if they offer take out I rather order and eat at my house I will not miss being there.

The restaurant was amazing, great food, great service and beautiful ambience. We did not pay attention to the fact that the tip was 10% of what we paid and we gave our waiter less , he was so upset and didn’t wanna take our tip. That was disappointing and it was a behavior screaming "Im entitled"

Myself and my husband had such an amazing experience at Tang this Saturday. We had an amazing waitress by the name of Sanet! She was truly amazing and really made the experience one that we won't soon forget. The food was amazing 10/10 The atmosphere and everyone that worked there made you feel right at home. Honestly the best service I've ever received in Cape Town. True definition of luxury

After experiencing TANG in Sandton we couldn’t help booking our birthday dinner at TANG in Cape Town - we were a big group and the service was outstanding- I’ve been a couple times now the only thing that did not stand out for me was the sushi on my second last visit but other than that the cocktails and food is amazing. So I decided to book at tang for our 10 year wedding anniversary. The hype around this place made me want to spoil my wife on our special day. We had ordered our food from the most energetic and friendly waiter (Mesimba) and as the food arrived I was loving my food however my wife found hair that was in the batter on her Prawns, immediately put her off regarding the food. We were approached by the Manager on duty and came to apologize profusely regarding our first Tang experience. The way he made up for this error really ended our tang experience off on a positive note so a very special thank you to Grant and Mesimba for the amazing service and making our experience better after our issue we had!

What a Place! Our waiter Frankie was absolutely amazing! From the moment we sat down we felt as if we were her only clients. Her passion for her job was inspiring & her knowledge and excitement of the food & drinks menu truly helped us to order in the best way to gain the full feel of what Tang had to offer. Great atmosphere, awesome location. Service was average and the food was disappointing for all 4 of us. The drinks were good. Decor is nice. Was expecting more. Pricing is fair, some items on the menu were moderate, others expensive especially for the quality of food we got. I'd recommend this place but it just must have been an off day as there were a few issues with a few tables. Like I said I'd still recommend them but it'll be a while before we all go back again. The vibe is awesome. Just need to improve the service.

First time at Tang! All I can say is Wow, Wow, Wow. Firstly, walking in…the atmosphere was kick a$$, We were seated and from the get go the service started and the attention to the service never stopped. Our waiter Patric was amazing, knew his stuff and recommended what to have as a starter. Everything thereafter just flowed. From the managers to the waiter, I’d like to thank you guys for a super awesome experience not to mention the amazing live musicians getting everyone’s attention rocking to their music.

We randomly stumbled into this place looking for some calm down cocktails after a wonderful helicopter ride. Eddie was an amazing server and recommended the most incredible cocktails that all hit the spot. We ended up ordering some food and it also was fantastic. A beautiful high end restaurant aesthetic with a relaxed vibe. Thoroughly enjoyed my experience. Staff was professional, warm and welcoming and the overall service and attention to detail was superb. Impressed with the vibe, bathrooms and some bells and whistles. But the Food ended up being very average. We had waygu for our main but the cut had one big piece of fat and senue which was inedible at medium rare. Dessert was incredibly sweet. Most at our table of 20 couldn't finish the fondants and brownies. Not sure if they just had an off night but it felt like they just went through the motions. For the price, I won't go back and expected much more.

We had had an early dinner there today. I was quite excited about this restaurant and looked forward to it. Food is good - is there better in Cape Town - most definitely. We were greeted by 3 hostesses- sorry to say but they need training. The way they speak, the manner and attitude is wrong Telling someone we only have space outside and once you’re seated you cannot move inside in a firm tone is not on. You have amazing decor etc - no blankets or warmth outside? It’s windy and this is Cape Town? 3 young non coloured people were greeted and offered to wait inside near the bar as there was now space inside -yet when we asked again if we could move inside she firmly said no space it’s already so difficult today. You’ve clearly spent a lot of money and thought into this restaurant but you have a long way to go - before you become one of top in Cape Town. Train your staff, have better ladies standing at the front. Arrange blankets or gas heating outside. It’s so windy tissues/food/water bottles fly away. We eat at many top restaurants in Cape Town regularly and honestly you just lack the warmth and service. Such a shame because food is actually very good. All the best 👍🏼

The food oh my word, deliciously delectable i could lick each plate ! But the main attraction for me is their extremely professional and friendly service, the attention to detail, they attentively listen to you and excel with flying colours in this regard ! This restaurant is a must in Cape Town. The menu is varied, with some very intriguing dishes, all looking very appealing. The quality of the food I tried is outstanding and the service was impeccable. The restaurant is in an excellent location in the Waterfront area.

Exceptional in every way. (We had a waiter that was from South America I think, he was excellent with our family). The food was delicious and the wine served at the perfect tempreature between both white and red. This is definetly a dining experience I would recommend.
