This is a takeout only place on main road , cape town. The food is simple and vegetarian options exist, a quick roti with chips and curry is what you will get. you can also get bunny chows. I ordered a sugar bean bunny and two chip roti rolls.

Value for money. You will not find food this good for this cheap anywhere. Also vegan friendly. (if you are a veggie or vegan steer clear of the mixed veg curry roti as chicken stock is used to make it). The owners are also very community minded and end up helping a lot of the homeless in Mowbray out with left overs at the end of a day.

It is an unassuming "hole in the wall" outlet, but the curries taste great, there are a lot of menu options and the prices are very reasonable. Portion sizes are very generous! They do take credit cards. There are a few different vegetarian options. Sometimes not all of the menu options are available, like they may run out of lamb or mince.

Food here is absolutely delicious and strictly Halaal. You can grab anything from a grilled chip and cheese sandwich with a gravy or sauce of your choice, to a full house mutton gatsby wrapped in a large roti. Great vegetarian dishes too. The cuisine is spicy.

Great value for the money you pay for. The quality of the food is average. The portions are large. It would be better if they close later especially in the weekends. But at the location during the night it looks a bit dodge so can't complain.

The best chicken rooties gatsbys in cape town. Only r60. Verry tasty and fulfilling. Phpne orders are welcomed.. Drinks and other curries are sold here aswell. Back in the 80's Sunrise, Durban was the place to go for a good Indian curry! What a surprise finding Sunrise here in Cape Town. We have been here many times and the food is outstanding!

The tabletop flatbread is the most attractive. I haven't seen anyone else making it on the market. It is freshly baked and vegetables or beans can be rolled into the flatbread. A serving of 35 Lite can last for two days. 902
