I went for lunch on a Tuesday. It was early (12noon) so quiet although it did start getting busy around 2pm. Service was somewhat slow, the antipasto platter for 4 was delicious and my guests devoured the baklava cheesecake! I’ll definitely go back for a dinner.

Had a lovely lunch at Mykonos! The portion sizes of the main meals are a real bang for your buck, and it was incredibly delicious! The starters were amazing too, but only order them if you worked up a big appetite! haha

It was my birthday & I wanted to try something different. Discovered Mykonos on Uber eats and researched the menu. Already knew that I wanted the platter, but the carvery, looked enticing. I was so surprised, at the amount of food on the platter. Everything was delicious. My friends enjoyed it. The atmosphere was amazing, felt like I was in Greece. Would recommend this place

Great atmosphere on a Friday night. We shared some mezze, skewers and pita between 4 of us which was lovely. The lamb was definitely the highlight! The food was quick enough to come out of the kitchen however our waitrons weren't the most attentive to asking us for our food order or returning with our bill. Despite the small inconvenience, I would still recommend this Greek restaurant.

Food was delicious. Play area is best suited to pre schoolers, however my 7 year old was very happy to be given some dough to play with. A little chilly sitting next to the large glazing, close to the play area, so bring a warm jacket in winter if you want to sit close to play area.

First of all, I'm a big fan of Mykonos. First met the charismatic Owner and Wife duo at an Earthfair market, then off to Seapoint for their (flagship in my opinion) restaurant, to Newlands and now on the corner at Cavendish Square in Vinyard road, Claremont. While I have yet to see anyone I know, I can relay this: menu is the same. Password for wifi on wall incorrect (small caps only works), service slow and energy not as vibrant as I've come to associate with Mykonos. Decor again inspires me to finally take that trip to Greece I've been putting off. Cocktails well prepared and an happy hour offered between 4-6 on Mojitos. All and all, great promise for a beautifully delicious concept. Long live Mykonos!

We love Mykonos! For a family with a small child, this is perfect. The food is delicious and always consistent in quality and taste. Love that I can order my 2 year old daughter a scrambled egg and pita bread for dinner. The kiddie play area is great with lots of variety and our little one is kept busy while we enjoy the most delicious mezze and a glass of wine. All the waiters and staff are so friendly, and Vicky, the owner/manager is caring, friendly and always around. 5 stars from us!

I had one of the the most amazing experience in my history of hospitality . Hosted my birthday dinner with my group of friends on 2nd September and we were all treated as royalty . Our waiter deserves a bells , he went over and above to make sure we had the most amazing evening. Everyone actually was very accommodating to us in the place ( we were all over the place taking pictures and all ), ever so kind and helpful .I loved experiencing the Greek tradition of plate smashing. The platters were absolutely great and very filling .The meat was tender and well seasoned , everyone loved the food. They also allowed me to bring my cake and provided all necessary utensil so that we can enjoy it which was such a great gesture .Thank you everyone at Mykonos for making my birthday so memorable and we will definitely come back again . I highly recommend this place.

The mezzes are excellent and good value for money. We had a mezze platter and were not disappointed. The waiter was great, the kids play zone was amazing. We'll be back just for that. The mains were a bit average and pricey for what you get though. Also, we ordered a salad that was supposed to come with pine nuts and sundried tomatoes. But it was just a normal chicken salad with very little chicken. A bit disappointing for R150. Overall good experience though.

Had the most incredible lunch at Mykonos in Claremont yesterday. We were a group of 11 people and ordered a few platters for the table - the delicious mezze, vegetarian and grill platters and a few large salads for the table. The food was plentiful and absolutely delicious. The freshest ingredients that honestly made this the best Greek food I've ever had! So many amazing options on the menu to choose from. Great decor and really friendly, welcoming service. Look forward to going back again soon.

This place is a little treasure that is definitely worth a visit if you are looking experience a really authentic Greek evening. We attended a very good friends birthday celebrations here and were welcomed into the Greek family so to speak. Not only is the food really good and very Greek but the service was very good. We never wanted for one thing the whole evening. I especially loved the Tapas style starters that were delicious. This was followed by the a lamb main with probably the best cooked chips I have had in as long as I can remember. This was followed by entertainment of Greek dancing (including a Greek tradition that I will leave as a surprise for you when you visit) and fire displays that included all present from 5 to 95 year olds. Everyone could join in on Zorba the Greek dance and boy was it allot of fun. Finally one could dance the night away with great music that was loud enough to dance to but soft enough to have a chat with others at the tables. I cannot praise the team that runs this establishment enough in promoting their beautiful culture and cuisine in such a tasteful and fun manner. I would highly recommend this restaurant for an experience that you will remember forever.

Still the best Greek food I've had in Cape Town! The staff and owner are always super friendly. Recommend the yuvetsi, lamb chops and mezze platter. So glad there's a branch closer than Seapoint now!

As a group, we had a lovely evening at Mykonos Claremont. Food was great , very generous portions, atmosphere very authentic Greek. Greek music played in background sets the scene nicely , though the music, got a bit loud and frenetic at times, would maybe recommend a mix of music to include some more laid back Greek vibes . It was our 2nd time there and we will be back , this time for the Greek evening they hold once a month.

An absolutely authentic Greek experience. I wish I knew the hosts name because she was so great, checking on us all the time, very friendly, great service. Food is halaal and no alcohol goes into the kitchen but they do have a bar so halaal friendly. Such a great place. Food was so fresh. My lamb swarma was so good. Would definitely recommend 👌

We went for the Sunday lunch carvery and it was excellent. Great value, brilliant service and delicious food. The atmosphere felt like we were in Greece, and our toddler loved the kids play area. Wonderful venue for any occasion.

Very glad to have found an amazing Greek restaurant close to home. We did the Sunday buffet carvery, every dish was 10 out of 10, lamb was a 12 out of 10.
