Average... Imagine Spur had a little brother, but you paid R 255 per burger. Don't get me wrong, Hard Rock Cafe is a great place with great food, but for the price you pay, you would expect something....Wow ! Get it off your bucket list, but dont expect anything other than just a normal, overpriced, burger joint.

Hard Rock cafe, another one ticked of the bucket list. Menu abit pricy but then it is in Campsbay. My son took the Lionel Messi burger, he gave it a 6 and a half out of 10. My daughter had the beef nachos, she enjoyed her meal. Mom and I had the 3 sliders which wasn't bad at al. Service was a 4 star , not bad at all.

I stopped in here to have lunch after a work engagement. I sat upstairs and ordered a still water, coke And a burger. The surf and turf burger was actually pretty tasty. They came out with the still water immediately and I thought maybe they were going to bring out the Coke with the meal. Meal came and I asked again and also for some ketchup for the fries. The server said no problem and I didn’t see her again till the bill. I asked another server walking by for same when I was almost done with my meal. A Coke and ketchup shouldn’t take 10 mins. Same thing, ok and nothing. Manager then came around asking everyone how meals were going and I told her how the food was good but service was off. She apologized, offered no comps, I was surprised to see the Coke on my bill as it literally came when they were taking away my plates. Customer service in South Africa is nothing like back in US. It wasn’t very busy either, the staff upstairs just don’t seem to care. I saw why though, later I saw the manager standing in a corner paying more attention to her phone and texting than managing her staff. I will say that their gift shop staff was the exact opposite , very engaging and attentive. $35+ T shirts and $20 shot glasses and magnets. You’re going to need to really like the people you are getting the souvenirs for! Again, the food was good just manage your expectations on the service. It’s a touristy crowd, they probably dont expect much return patronage, 1star dining service.

I've been to many HRC's in the world. This is small(er) in size but incredible in all the rest. Your classic rock decoration coupled with great food and local wine at a premium location around Cape Town (nr 3 beach in the world - Camps Bay) where I went attracted by an online article and found this by mere chance. Had to go there for dinner even outside of our plans for the day. Oh, and bought a great t-shirt!

Service was good just mis heared me when I said no Tomatoe on my burger. Chips were good just not all cooked through some golden brown some pale, burger was very oily bun looks like it was brushed with oil, chicken dipped in buttermilk patty was very good. Chicken strips were good just the sauces are very acidic Camps Bay hard rock Cafe in my opinion is over priced for the quality of food they serve but the location would make it expensive.

I’ve been to a couple of Hard Rock Cafe’s including overseas...so when some friends visited over the festive season, it had to be on the list! First time trying the one in Camps Bay, and it didn’t disappoint. Lovely atmosphere, amazing chocolate brownie, as we only had drinks and some dessert. Waitress was a bit scarce to my taste, had to look and wait for her for some time mor than once. Prices are a bit too inflated if compared to similiar establishments in Cape Town, or even Camps Bay...so I’d suggest going only AFTER you have your monthly salary. Other than that, nice experience, will come back and see if the food is on par with Sandton and Menlyn in Pretoria too...

Great place to sit on the top floor and look out over the beach while having a cocktail. The volume balance of music was perfect so that you could hear perfectly but still chat with your companions. Great food as week. Well worth a visit.

I celebrated my birthday at Hard Rock Cafe, I never feel so special and important the way I feel when I was at Hard Rock cafe Camps bay , the management was amazing ,the staff so friendly and professional This made me feel so special. The food was so delicious and music wow, everything was perfect. Everyone was so happy. Thank you Hard Rock cafe team ,definitely I will come again

Took my teenage daughter for her birthday. Having been to a couple of Hard Rock Cafes across the world, this one didn't impress me much. The menus were very old, all the corners were curling.. The quality of the food and what we paid for it didn't quite match.

I must admit the view is amazing here!! A great location to eat, drink and people watch. Usually a live DJ on the weekends. Great time to be had here. The food is extremely good and very reasonably priced as well. Their biggest asset is their personnel! Everyone there was PERFECT! The waiters, waitresses, cooks, etc... I would come back just because of them alone because a Hard Rock is nothing without their employees! They deserve all of the credit to the success of this location.

Great spot to visit, the restaurant can seriously improve on their staff behavior and service but the atmosphere is phenomenal. It was so great that I tolerated bad service. I love to balcony view to the ocean, it was truly remarkable. I would definitely recommend it. Although I had such an amazing experience, please consider training your staff on customer service.

Food and service was good. But the whole point of the Hard Rock is to have the Rock n roll atmosphere that we have experienced in other cities around the world. Usually Hard Rock Cafes have rock music playing. They had the TVs with the hard rock cafe music videos, but the speakers were playing generic background house music. Very disappointing. There are 1000's of cafes and restaurants in Cape Town where you can listen to generic background music. At least make the Hard Rock what it is supposed to be, a rock cafe.

Love a hard rock cafe and this didn't disappoint. Great view overlooking Camps Bay, lovely food, bit weird having a drinks menu via scan a QR code yet main meal via a proper menu.

Visited Hard Rock on New Years Eve for a late lunch. We were a big party and the staff accommodated us. The food and the service was great even though they were so busy. The DJ also created such a vibe that we did not want to leave.

Burger is very plain. A patty and almost nothing else. But the patty is spot on. Food and drinks were really good. This place could be a real hotspot, if they weren't displaying a bit of a lack of interest - both in terms of customer service and presentation.

Hard Rock Cafe with a nice atmosphere - food is, as always, good and reasonably priced. Tip: up on the first floor you have a great view of the sea and the hustle and bustle of Camps Bay - especially from the high chairs on the balcony!

As always recommended and the dessert is amazing, look at the size! Definitely don't order more than 1, but it tasted very good! and also a great location, with a good view on the upper floor. Parking right in front of the door or in the parking garage next door
