Seriously great coffee, fruit juices and veggie food at Ground Zero. Love the bolt hole through the bar where I can centre and work if needed. Aron also gets my award for the most creative cappuccino foam to date

Really cool cafe/Restaurant. In the back is an open garden but people smoke weed there so the smell is pretty strong.. Otherwise really nice coffee and food (a lot of vegan options) for a very good price. Went there twice and it was great both times

Incredible place. Incredible people. Incredible food. Randomly stumbled on this gem. Can't stop going back. They've got killer toasted sandwiches if you're just looking for a light snack. Or wraps to die for if you're a bit more hungry. Chill for awhile out back with a pot of tea, or a quick morning coffee. Either way, this place has a cozy/warm vibe that will set your energy straight for the rest of the day. My cafés back home in Brooklyn should take note of this place.

Love this place Only reason not 5 stars because they kicked us out before we were ready to leave because we were no longer making them money and they wanted to fill our spots with new people. That left a bit of a bad taste in my mouth, considering we're exceptionally loyal customers whove been bringing friends here for ages. Waiters are in general awesome however. There used to be a white guy with long hair who served for a period of time and he had a serious attitude problem but I'm glad to say he's gone now. Still will keep going back because despite everything, the vibes are still incredible and the food is great.

Great place to spend a few chill hours. The vegan food is outstanding, the atmosphere relaxed and friendly, smokers of all kinds are catered to, and the service was great if a little slow. Definitely a place to visit again and again.

Very cool place. Lots of options for vegans. Nice to sit at the front bar stool and see Devils peak mountain view in the distance while watching the main road bustle in front of you. For a quieter option, bend under the counter flap , go behind the counter to the back and enjoy the arsty obs vibe there under the tarpaulin.

This is my favourite place to get any warm beverage and healthy food. The staff is great. The vibes are magick. And the music is always so radical. Find me here at least one day a week. Ask them Infront if you can go through to the garden. It's at the back. It's hidden. And it's worth it.

This is the best coffee shop I've found. The vibe is great, staffers friendly and caring. The other day, the waiter suggested that I try out their Nettle and Hibiscus tea, which is rich in antioxidants. I loved it. The owner is also friends and down to earth. I've gone twice already.

The vegan chicken is just out of this world and the owner Paul is the biggest gem you can find in Cape town. Don't miss it! Great coffee and also nice almond milk for a very good price.

Very nicely decorated, food is presented amazingly and is very tasty. Portions are small and are abit over priced but the vibe and the Atmosphere is very attractive. There is a lack of music though would be a very nice touch to have some background beats. Enjoyed the exotic teas and the homemade tomato sauce.

My favourite spot for delicious coffee and RIDICULOUSLY AMAZING vegan chicken and mayo sandwiches. The owners and staff are out of this world and can turn a horrible week right around for you. Feel like a cry and some coffee? Slink to the courtyard at the back, sink into the couches and sob away. You will undoubtedly get support from patrons and staff alike.

This is a laidback coffee shop with friendly staff. Lots of sweet-stuff for vegans. The menu is vegan too. The falafels are absolutely a must have, and comes in various ways to choose from. There's also products like Käse Kitchen Peach & Jalapeno Preserve that makes one hec of a basting (I like meat and I like Ground Zero's vegan dishes!), honey and other condimens for sale in the shop section. All and all it's not easy to impress a meat eater with veggies, but Ground Zero knows what they're doing.

Ground zero is one coffee shop and marley coffee is another coffe shop next to one another . Marley coffee ahop is run by rastas very nice atmosphere so if you like rasta vara then yesthis coffe shop is for you

Hands down, this is the coolest coffee shop I've visited in Cape Town. The small front shop belies the fact that there is a larger but cozy hidden courtyard out back. Great music and a welcoming host, makes for an uplifting coffee experience.
