We had dinner at Bardelli’s for the first time last night, to celebrate my partner’s birthday. What a lovely atmosphere, attentive service and delicious food. We will definitely be back!

Bardelli's offers an exquisite range of Italian-inspired foods, such as pizzas and pastas. The experience was enhanced by great service from attentive waitrons as well as a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Our dinner was illuminated by candles as there was loadshedding but despite this, the wait for our food was reasonable and the fire-baked dishes were delivered warm and were delicious. Highly recommend this place for a casual lunch or dinner out with friends and family.

The pizza was delicious and our waiter was very friendly and helpful. Our food also came very quickly (and disappeared just as quickly!) The pizza also has the option of a medium or large size which I appreciate. There was a bit of a traffic jam in the restaurant when we arrived as many people were waiting to be seated which was a bit puzzling as there appeared to be many seats available. Apart from this, I had a wonderful experience and would definitely recommend!

An authentic and quaint Italian restaurant offering the most delicious pizzas and pastas - especially the ravioli. They offer an array of options which cater for various dietary needs. The atmosphere is incredibly warm and cozy while the service of the staff are friendly and efficient.

Such an amazing place. The service was perfect and accommodating. The food was great...everything is well worth a 5 star rating. Enjoyed the historic building setting like I was having dinner in a chilled home environment. The staff also make you feel at home, which adds to the amazing experience. I had the chicken lasagna and a salad, it was delicious and a very decent portion. Finished it off with some dessert, which was the icing on the cake (excuse the pun)of a good experience. Definitely one of my top go-to place from now on.

Stayed in kenilworth back in the winter of 2019. Was lucky enough to be right down the street from bardelli’s. Enjoyed many nice meals and drinks during those rainy winter months. Not sure when I’ll be back in CT but when I do come back, I’ll make sure to come back to bardellis. Great romantic spot for date nights. Happy to see that you all are still going strong. I have found Cape Town's best Creme Brulee! They do in fact state that on the menu and as someone who judges a place by this very dessert I can confirm it's an amazing experience of texture and flavour. The sticky toffee pudding was also incredibly delicious! I look forward to many more visits and other flavour experiences at your establishment. Thank you for excellent service, a beautiful setting and quality food.

We sat in the courtyard on a Monday evening and took advantage of the 20% off vegetarian special (every Monday). The pizzas are thin base and cooked to perfection. It's easy to over or undercook a thinbase but they get it just right! I can't imagine anything being better or to improve on so this gets 5 stars!

I always say that dining out is just as much about the people who serve you as it is about the food. A few weeks ago I was at Bardelli's and a kind-hearted waitress called Moo/Mu served me. She was attentive in the most understated manner. Whenever our water jug was finished, it was replaced before we even had to ask. Plates cleared lightning fast, wine topped up, insightful knowledge of the menu... The list goes on. It was my first week in Cape Town and she spent 20 minutes going through the menu with me, offering suggestions and commentary on nearly all the dishes. And she did that all with a sunshine smile whilst also managing other customers. Wow. Sometimes I just watched her go about her duties. Smiling at playing with children. Cracking jokes with grandpas like me. You don't often see such grace, especially in my old age. Together we settled on the mussel and prawn marinara. FAN.TAS.TIC and paired it off with a creme brûlée. I am coming back here with some friends. The food was top tier and the service was even better. I know Bardelli's is going to soar to greater heights! And to Moo, good luck with honours!

What a beautiful romantic little place we came across for our Date Night. Fantastic service, delicious and well presented meals and perfect ambience. I would recommend this amazing place to anybody who seeks a lovely intimate restaurant.

Two of us had Dinner, one had a 250gram Sirloin steak with veg and pepper sauce, and I had the Al Pollo - Chicken sauteed in a chilli-garlic marinade with mushrooms and a trio of peppers and a dash of cream, washed down with a bottle of Chardonnay, and finished off with Creme Brulee . Most enjoyable meal and evening.

We've been to this restaurant so many times. We were always warmly welcomed by the owners and the staff of the restaurant. Staff are knowledgeable about the menu and very helpful to us whenever we needed assistance in choosing dishes from the menu. Their service is outstanding, and food is impeccable. By tasting the delicious food we found that the ingredients used were of high-quality. Their portions were generous and filling too. I would definitely recommend this restaurant.

We went last night as a family and despite eating pizza out of boxes and pasta out of a tin tray, the food is amazing, the atmosphere is great and the staff are putting on a brave face. Do yourself a favour, if you are a chicken wings fan; visit this place. The tastiest I have ever had. I believe the legend chef’s name is Wendy. Pizza and pasta are very, very tasty. Staff are five stars as well. The outside undercover area is extremely warm and comfortable, even in winter. #WendysWings

Bardellis restaurant serves lovely pizza. The prices are about average for a pizza place. Of course they also serve pasta and other dishes, but I personally always go for the pizza. The quality of the food is good and it is always tasty. They serve thin crispy bases with a good amount of toppings. A large pizza is enough to fill you up and sometimes if I am not too hungry, I can even take some home for a snack. The service is not too fast so it is best to go when you are looking for a very relaxed evening of chatting, eating and drinking! The atmosphere is pleasant and there is also an outside area. The restaurant is divided into different rooms so it feels quite cozy and intimate They have excellent heaters, so it is warm even on the coldest evenings. I would recommend this restaurant

We sat in the inside-outside courtyard. We went there for the best lasagna and decided to give the Sirloin a try as well. While waiting for my Lasagna to cool I tasted the steak. Bardelli's Sirloin is the tastiest steak I've ever eaten! Charred, smokey, juicy and perfectly medium cooked. The fat was rendered beautifully. Every bite was bursting with flavour. The lasagna was really great too however that steak stole the show. Service was lovely as well. Left a good tip. Worth every cent. 15 / 10. Definitely coming back for more.

What a lovely hidden gem...the place looks unassuming from the outside and once u wander through the main entrance to a small bar area..a table tucked here and there..outside under cover are more tables. Date night with my hubby. Relaxed ambience, friendly staff and gooood food; no skimping on portion size or toppings . Definitely worth a return visit. Do suggest that the steak on the Papa G needs a marinade; it was a bit bland.

Amazing pizza and service - I had the Club Italiano. Also made an amazing Dom Pedro. Tiramisu was a bit soggy but tasted really good. We'll definitely be back soon! Edit: Been back 3 times. The pizza keeps getting better and the Alfredo pasta is the best I've had! We also tried the creme brule tonight and it's a winner!
