Loved the music and the food was amazing a veriety to choose from. There are 2 sets where you can sit down inside the bar or outside where they have locals singing there are heating available aswell. Kooperasie have that boere layout where you just feel at home.

Ownership seems very on their game. Atmosphere is great. A definite winner for anyone looking for an old school food and drink experience. Sadly they did switch my spirit of choice later on to something very cheap without mentioning.

I am very disappointed in my Oom Jan pizza. Was very dry. The standard I expected came far short. Used to love it. I would never order it again.

Always a nice pub to stop and enjoy a cold beer. Helpful staff with a strong afrikaans influence with live music at certain times. Great steaks and other meals to keep the most hungry farmer satisfied.

I have not enjoyed a meal as much in a long time. The atmosphere is amazing and even the tethered horses climbed into their food with gusto. Your life will not be complete without a visit.

Great food and a wonderful atmosphere. It doesnt get more Potchefstroom than this. If you go you have to try out their 1kg steak challenge. The steak is so well cooked and their pap and tomato gravy is to die for. Also if you finish the meal you get your name on the wall so that's an added incentive.
