R. L.Patels is an institution, going there is nostalgic. The meals, affordable and delicious, and importantly, entirely vegetarian. You will not miss your meat dishes here. The bunnychow that I love here is the large mix. Ask the owner or his son for the mix bunny. You can thank me after you tasted it. Many morning's a month, I have breakfast bunnychow there, with some fresh hot potato bhajia... #CurryCulture 🌶

V.Best bunnies I've had during my month stay in Durban. Great prices too, and you can get take away. Highly suggest you check it out for a lunch. They stop serving bunnies at 1400.
J. S.Sometimes it's best to keep things the way it is. That's Patels,l!! The decor and layout is the same for years. It reminds you that this establishment has stood the test of time. Get there before 12 cos they sell out quickly. Also during certain times of the year the shop is closed for a few months.

Make sure to get there before 2pm to avoid disappointment with food being sold out. This is a highly popular spot. There is usually no parking so you will have to double park on the main road. Must try at least once when you are in Durban.
