Had a wonderful experience! Waitstaff are friendly, pizza came out quite quickly and was delicious. There was a vagrant that approached a table next to us, I think the manager should have stepped in instead of sending the waiter (who dealt with it very well).

Colcacchio is a winner anywhere. Food is phenomenal and the Gateway one was no different. They cater for gluten free and low carb. Our food was delicious.

Ordered the butter chicken from the new speciality menu - it was absolutely amazing. The portion was hearty and generous. Our waiter Sarge was friendly and so helpful. Really appreciated all her efforts. We come to Col’cacchio often and every time we have exceptional food and service.

Today my wife and I decided to visit Col’Cacchio, and we were impressed by the atmosphere of the restaurant. The menu is amazing and caters for all, the waitron was on point and very helpful. We both got vegetarian meals and they were absolutely delicious, we both enjoyed our meals. We will definitely be coming back!!!

A Delightful Dining Experience at Col'cachios On a recent Friday night, I had the pleasure of dining at Col'cachios in Gateway, and it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. The service was impeccable—every staff member was attentive, friendly, and dedicated to making our evening enjoyable especially our wonderful waitress Sarge . It’s evident that customer satisfaction is a top priority here. We decided to try the new menu, and it was a fantastic choice.what made it so special was the Chef Sanjveer made sure he cooked our meals even though it was the end of his shift. My partner had the Butter Chicken, which was outstanding. The chicken was perfectly cooked—tender and juicy—while the gravy was rich, flavorful, and had just the right amount of spice. I opted for the Battered Hake and Mash, and it was absolutely perfect. The hake was crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, while the mash was smooth and creamy. Together, they made for a delightful and satisfying dish. Overall, Colcachios in Gateway offers a superb dining experience with excellent service and delicious food. I highly recommend trying their new menu if you’re looking for a memorable meal.

This is our go-to restaurant because of Elden. He is an exceptional waiter and always manages to make us laugh AND remember our orders. He is the reason we keep coming back. The food is incredible and we’ve never been disappointed. Definitely worth every penny!

Wonderful experience at Col’Cacchio Gateway. From the lovely waitress Panashe through to the delectable salad and pizza, and by the suggestion of the kind manager Sarge, a yummy dessert at the end. Brilliant vegetarian options! The Brocollo, Peperoncino(minus parmesan) and Crostata di caramello were delicious. Please dont take this dessert off the menu! Until next time…

The food is always absolutely fresh and their portions are generous. Apparently it’s a chain but I’m new to SA so none the wiser. Fantastic salad selection!! And even a low carb section for those of us (trying) to bant. Coffee was great, service friendly. Borderline slow, but it’s absolutely packed in here at the moment. Would definitely come again just for the salad variety.

I was met by the most welcoming lady named Sarge, my intention upon entering this establishment was to check out the lunch menus and after speaking with Sarge I decided to sit in, bear in mind I had under and hour to get back to work. Her service delivery was on point and the presentation of my meal was excellent. My meal was absolutely Devine. The ambiance was perfect and definitely meets the requirements for both indoor and outdoor dining. She continously checked on my needs up until I was done. For me this is exceptional service although I was just 1 person having a small lunch. Keep it up Sarge, a welcoming person in any establishment makes a person always come back, I appreciate your great service.

This is my second time ever having Col’Cacchio pizza and it’s one of the most divine pizza’s I’ve ever had! My experience at the one in Gateway Mall was made even better by an energetic waitress called Zinhle ‘Zee’. Very attentive to us and friendly. I was pleased by how well she knows the menu which really matters to me when ordering because I’m indecisive! She recommended two great flavours. I certainly won’t hesitate to return for more divine pleasure :)

The nacho libre, for those who love avo, is the ONE! It’s chicken, avo and sour cream, reminiscent of Mexican food on a pizza. It’s a bit pricey and worth it. The crust is thin, crisp it and soft at the same time...and the fact that it’s wood oven pizza gives it that extra flare of authenticity. For vege lovers there are some great options, the caramlized onion on the principessa is to die for. You can’t go wrong here.

This place needs some serious cleaning, I sat on the couch section and there were cockroaches roaming around!! not to mention that there was no one at the door to sit me down when I arrived. when they finally set me down no one came back to take my order I had to call a passing waiter and asked to be helped! other than that, the food was amazing though!

My first time experience at this place really surprised me! Firstly I came there very hungry, irritable and undecided (as I was unfamiliar with their menu). Leah (our waitron) was super patient, I chopped and changed a lot!!! And finally I decided on the zucchetti pesto with chicken.
