Chic setting with great decor. The food was absolutely delicious with a wide variety of items on the menu. The trio bruscheta starter is divine and I had the ostrich fillet with a watermelon salad as a main which was cooked to perfection 👌. My wife tried the Krispy Kreme burger which was actually surprisingly good. Overall an excellent experience and the service was great as well.

Lunch For 4 Something different I would say. Personalized decor with a different feel. Good service. Interesting menu with plenty of choices. All the moctails we ordered were so refreshing. (No alcohol served here) All our dishes were really good however was a tad bit disappointed that the curry options seem on the reviews are no longer on the menu. You could also choose from a wide selection of baked items. Fridges stocked with frozen pastry items that could be purchased

So i know I've posted about this Cafe over a year ago, but for those who didn't know it exists here is a reminder. I recently went back to Upcycled Café not only for the good food but this particular weekend they had made an arrangement with Tonka Bean Bakery to bring in some of their delicious doughnuts to the east side. (as you know Tonka is moer far for us East Randers) They have made some changes to the decor which is so funky and quirky. So while taking my order we obviously cannot help but buy more goodies that their sister bakery next door makes I.e. Croissants filled with fresh cream / cakes and mini desserts. (Lazeezas) As for the food and cakes everything is just MELT - IN - YOUR - MOUTH AMAZING.... I even had such a good cup of Masala Tea *sigh* I will advise to make a reservation. It's a small cafe that fills up quickly as i discovered recently when I hoped to have lunch and they were full :-(

Place was HUMMING around brunch!!! Tables were turning around with people in and out. Didn't have a reservation, yet they made an effort to accommodate us. Waited in their outside/smoking section which wasn't as cold as what we thought it would be. Food was amazballs! Definitely going to hit this spot again soon.

Yum Yum Yum, Ordered the chicken fillet which was delicious. Loved the salad that came with it. I opted not to have the chips and was pleasantly surprised when the waiter recommend a substitution with a watermelon salad which was absolutely divine. Loved the ambience, service was good.

Food delicious. Will definitely go back. Restaurant packed so service a bit slow and also very loud as a result. Interesting decor. Follow up - popped in to buy cheese cake but it was a Fri. I was gracioulsy served despite the restaurant being closed for prayer.

Best not to go closer to closing time..the food will be less than its usual great. We got there 20min before 16h00 on Sunday..toasted chicken melt sarmies.. we're rather dry..not its usual great. Service always great.

What an absolute hidden gem! We were delighted to have found this breath of fresh air in dining experiences. It completely exceeded all expectations. The food was fresh and tasty without the need for adding anything as it was amazing as is. Lovely menu options that make you feel as though you must return to try the other items. The personalised, friendly service was impecable. The decor is quirky with harmony- we kept finding new, interesting things to look at. We even received the background stories of the photos on the walls from the owner. To top it all off the prices are exceptionally reasonable and it is completely worth the money.

Food was great,The service can do with some jacking up.Ordered breakfast for 3 adults and for a child. The child's meal came after the adults Asked the waiter for water 15 min later he had to be reminded again. Would recommend the place for the good quality of food.

A beautiful layout with all the succulent plants and quirky tables & chairs. I enjoyed the food, better than i expected actually however, the owners were really cold and unfriendly. They dont greet you on your way in or thank you when you're leaving, neither do they come to your table to personally ask if youre satisfied with your meal / service. Theres absolutely no customer etiquette when it comes to the owners, it made me feel really uncomfortable to be honest. The staff were really friendly and so patient but had to be constantly reminded to wear their mask. I didnt appreciate that at all👎🏼

Such a pretty place... most unique decor... but the service is sooo pathetic... be ready to wait minimum an hour for food... the food is displayed beautifully but I think it depends on what you order... the bruschetta is about R85 basically for a starter portion... the burgers look way better.....

Love this joint for so many reasons - from the vibrant setting to scrumptious foods, Upcycled Cafe sets itself apart from other restaurants in so many positive ways. Thoroughly enjoyed the experience and cuisine on more than one occasion. Definitely my favorite burger joint!

Came to do a function in McKenzie, bought a chicken burger and chicken pizza. Everything was on point! The burger was well sauced, had loads of stuff in it and well spiced. The pizza was a clay oven pizza and it was great. Mango milkshake was killers! The food is excellent as well as the decor in this little cafe. Waiting time was minimal. Will come back again in the future! I'd recommend anyday!
